Good location to shops and esplanade, bed was very comfortable
This is a room only so there was no breakfast available the days we stayed, however plenty of places to eat out so not to much of a problem.
The room had a number of steps especially in the bathroom so if we stayed again we would look to see if we could get a different room.

The only fault with our room was the bed! We were in room 6 and the mattress itself was comfy, however the bed was very squeaky, to the point that if you turned over in the night or got up to go to the bathroom you woke up the person next to you! It was so loud and squeaky that as a result we didn’t sleep well, which was a shame as everything else was great
In centre of town and had own private car park. It was closed when I arrived but Gary owner was in with two other people
Lovely bar area but closed did get a drink no food that evening or Monday or Tuesday and breakfast not included for £100 per night

Room was excellent. Staff including Landlord very friendly. Really old building with lots of character. Great central location for exploring Maldon. Some good real ales on tap. Excellent car parking. Seems dog friendly as I met a nice dog.
No breakfast option but the local cafe was fine. Bathroom could have been a little cleaner but it was not dirty. The tv remote probably needs replacing or batteries changing. Food stopped a 21:00 which was a little early.
Premises are Cosy with character. Looked freshly decorated.
