The views were stunning.
A little noisy from the traffic outside.
Great location right on the waterfront with fantastic views from the room. Lively local bar downstairs
Rooms at the front have the great views but there is a bit of road noise in the morning. Also some noise from the bar - trade off for it being a popular place!
Straightforward.
You need slice sausage in your breakfast since it's Scotland.
Bed was exceptionally comfortable, room was warm, TV worked, socket by the bed so easy for recharging. Bathroom a little tired decoration wise. Didn't have a shower so can't comment on that.
Would have liked a sea view but maybe the weather meant a room at the back was a better option as hotel is right on the sea front!
The room was cosy and had everything we need in such a small space. The room was clean as were the bathroom facilities.
There was an option to make hot drinks too.
There was no plug for the kettle where it was located on the table. I plugged it into one of the plugs near the floor!
Little noisy, lots of slamming and dragging something large, the room was shaking, all when we were trying to sleep. Around 9pm.
Great large room (no:6) old but great.
Nothing
The Location. Lovely friendly staff.
Nothing.
Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean with very comfortable bed and everything you need. The photos on booking.com are outdated as soft fittings in the room have been updated. The views are of course stunning. Overall a great choice if you are looking to stay in the area.
Cooked breakfast was a bit dried out and it's not £9.50pp so b.com need to update that. Our fault for not double checking.
The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming, the staff are wonderful. It is a cozy hotel overlooking the water. Breakfast was excellent, home cooked with lots of choice, loved the porridge.
It was a real treat staying here, exceptional hospitality and care.
Nothing
Lovely little traditional Scottish hotel/guesthouse. Great restaurant dinner/breakfast. Lovely views over the Firth of Clyde. Friendly staff. Nicely done room. Tiny bit pokey I recall, but had a nice seaview room. Got lots of character.
Can't recall anything bad.
Very friendly staff and great location.
My room had an excellent view of Clyde. However,, the negative was the noise from traffic especially early in the morning.
The staff were extremely professional and caring. Prompt service on check in and in the bar and restaurant. The food was really fresh - loved the fish tacos. Very good value for money overall
