room 4 was spacious with sofa & king bed so ideal for us with our two pets

So friendly and welcoming - especially with 2 dogs! Couldn’t fault any of your employees, we were made to feel very at home!

Really well placed in the village, beautiful old building. Great breakfast.
The room was incredibly noisy we think we must have been near a boiler system or something. And sadly despite letting you know ahead of time that we’d want to have dinner, the kitchen didn’t know we were coming and had closed early. It felt like an honest mistake though.
Perfect location for doing the Cumbria Way and a lovely place to rest my tired legs after a long walk from Ulverston.
The only negative thing I can think of is that the bar closed down at 9pm which I thought was a bit early. It would have been nice to spend a bit more time relaxing before going to bed.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious!
