Brilliant Hotel to stay at, despite booking last minute, and exceeded expectation
Pros:

Breakfast was traditional English option, with full works! It was fresh and tasted great. The room and bathroom was spacious, light, and we could open the windows for air, so circulation was good. The bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

Just the sometimes creaky floor boards, but only because I was worried about disturbing other guests, as we did go to bed late after being out for the evening.

Do not book, over priced.
Pros:

The only thing that was ok is the breakfast.

Cons:

The room over priced, it was full of dust. Way over priced, bed wash damaged. The bathroom was filthy.
The swimming pool not fit for purpose.
All staff apart from an elderly guy who was patronising, we were not asked if we wanted to book an early breakfast and tried to explain and his reply was dont you worry about that, what sort of answer is that to paying guests.
It only deserves 3 stars at the most.

Really comfortable accomodation and very well located for driving the west coast and Wales. Excellent staff!
Pros:

The hotel is so nicely decorated and very well cared for. My room was really lovely and spotlessly clean. I had a hire car and there was plenty of on site parking. Easy to drive to anywhere in the West of England.

Cons:

I did have one meal in the hotel restaurant that wasn’t great on a Monday night.

Pros:

The hotel was very clean & breakfast was very enjoyable, we were also upgraded to a superior room free of charge, the pool was brilliant for my young grandson

Cons:

Unfortunately due to extreme weather conditions the rooms were very hot, maybe lighter fabric curtains would help in future

Lovely place. Certainly hope to return.
Pros:

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was great. Room and en-suite bathroom was very comfortable. Wonderful to be able to go for a quick swim. The weather was sunny and there was the opportunity to sit in the garden. It was a great stay.

Cons:

The seagulls could have been quieter 😏

Pros:

The staff from the minute we arrived were amazing. The swimming pool was a big hit with my daughter.

Cons:

Some of the interior could do with fixing up - for example, rips in the chair covers, fake wall / planter box things in the dining room needs painting. Skirting boards etc.

Would have been good if the restaurant opened earlier as my daughter couldn’t wait until 6:45pm to eat.

Not being in the main hotel. We were not told when booked that we would be in a chalet at the back of the hotel.

A short 3 night stay with my son. Didn’t use the pool as couldn’t find it
Pros:

The staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel is opposite the bus stop to go into town. Comfortable rooms, though being in June and supposed to be summer the heating was off. Would have liked the heated towel rail to be warm

V traditional hotel Lots of hot water Friendly helpful staff Well organized dining room. Food good. Easy walking into town / beach rm decor beach vibe

Cons:

Issues with house keeping found discarded sweets and rubbish under beds .. no heating on first night -given a replacement electric heater. Second night CH came on but not in bathroom .. hard pillows not regular shape .. new carpet would improve room
