The shower could have been slightly warmer, and the table where the kettle/coffee machine was could have been slightly bigger, but that’s pretty much it! Wouldn’t stop us staying there again, we thought it was great.

Peu de pression dans la douche le matin et difficile de régler le chaud ou le froid correctement.
Manque de place pour les valises.
Connexion internet sur la télévision ne fonctionnait pas.
Laisser les bagages sans surveillance en bas des escaliers ne laissait pas trop en confiance car n'importe quel client qui a le code pourrait fouiller/voler les valises.
Café instantané.
Horaires du pub qui ferme tôt un dimanche soir, (plus tôt que les horaires officiels indiqués), car "c'etait calme"

Bien que le personnel était sympa, ils étaient plutôt nonchalant (le barman qui nous a accueilli ne connaissait pas l'heure du check-out et la dame présente le matin ne s'est pas levée pour montrer l'endroit où laisser les bagages et n'a pas demandé comment s'était passé le séjour.) On a l'impression que la priorité est le pub, et non s'occuper des clients de l'hôtel.
C'est dommage.

The only problem was an awful smell from the bathroom. We couldn’t decide where from , probably the toilet. The smell was in the bedroom all night and was very unpleasant so we slept with the windows open

A bit impersonable. I would maybe book again, in great location.

The cleanliness of the room was unacceptable (Churchill). The shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner bottles were empty. We found unknown debris in the shower. The fan was broken (this was fixed using brown tape) and encased in dust. Surfaces had not been wiped properly. The kettle and coffee machine had old water sitting in them.
We found a used hair tie in the kitchen. All the lampshades are wonky, and the walls need repainting. It really does need a little more care and attention. Also, many flights of stairs so not great for those with heavy luggage. On departure, we had to step over laundry bags to exit the building.
For £189 per night with no option of breakfast, I expected at the very least a clean room. I emailed management, but to date have received no response to the above. The only response was to say that the item I left in the fridge was not there. So I am guessing the cleaners threw it away.

Besides a lot of steps to top floor room , the large decorative lamps had broken wonky shades , a beer mat was stuck to the ceiling with Elastoplasts.

The website advertises a full menu at the pub but the only food on offer is toasties so it’s misleading
