Lovely quiet & comfortable stay
Pros:

Quiet room
Comfy beds
Nice size bathroom
Plenty of room to move between beds

Cons:

Only little things....
Not many power sockets.
No shower safety mat or rail in the shower.
When booking it mentioned bathrobes & slippers, we didn't see those.

They really are little things though.

Oud hotel, prima als je dat geen probleem vindt
Pros:

Fijne locatie in een historisch pand. Hele vriendelijke receptie medewerkers. Gezellige woonkamer/bar. Klantvriendelijk.

Cons:

Het pand en de faciliteiten zijn zeer oud en slecht onderhouden.

Ottima posizione e il parcheggio di fronte all'hotel è comodissimo. Colazione abbondante

Cons:

La camera era un pò calda non avendo l'aria condizionata, ma effettivamente la temperatura esterna era molto alta.

Good location but very outdated
Pros:

The staff were lovely and the location was great - but sadly those were the only positives for us.

Cons:

For the price per night over a weekend, we felt that the hotel was lacking basic amenities. The standard double room was very small, with a very outdated bathroom. The shower tray was stained, the toilet roll holder broken, and even an opened tampon in a decorative pot on the side?!
The hotel also didn't stock any shampoo in the room, and had a very old and slightly offputting no name shower gel in the bathroom.
The signage in the room was also outdated - mentioning robes when none were provided. On the whole for us it didn't live up to our expectations.

Wir konnten unser Frühstück auswählen. Es wurde frisch zubereitet.
Das Zimmer war klein, aber sehr kompakt.
Es gab einen Fön und ein Bügeleisen
Die Lage ist zentral

Cons:

Der Aufzug war kaputt.
Einen Kühlschrank im Zimmer habe ich vermisst

Sweet short stay at The Lanes Hotel
Pros:

The reception staff was very welcoming and friendly.
The breakfast was nice and our room had a sea view!

Cons:

Only that the WiFi on the last floor was not accessible.

We enjoyed the stay which was in a good location and comfortable.
Pros:

The staff were very good and also the location. We liked the size of the room (family room) and that we were able to get parking there by arriving early. There was also a bar and good sized lounge to relax in. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room

Cons:

The lift wasn't working and we were on the third floor - although we had been warned. The door didn't lock and the chain wouldn't go through the holder. The windows were in poor condition, needing painting and repair so they would stay up independently. The shower had very weak pressure. Didn't like it had no hand held attachment.
