Nice location, clean and tidy.
Pros:

The location is great very close walking distance to many attractions. The hotel and rooms were clean and tidy.

Cons:

I booked 3 rooms (family + 2 doubles) and asked on check in the receptionist to make sure myself and my wife had the family room as the other 2 rooms would be single occupied. The receptionist confirmed we had the family room. However this was wrong and we had to have a double room although I had paid for a family room. The breakfast was very low quality ingredients, I couldnt eat it and didnt bother the following day.

The room 202 was a disgrace, couldn’t close the curtains, the bath room had a loo was a sanaflow loo that chews up the waste, and were they got 3 stars from I do not know. We booked for 4 nights came home after 3, it was a atic room up 4 flights of stairs

Pros:

No wardrobes in family room no lifts to other floors for elderly had to climb stairs but otherwise a nice stay and value for money

Great location, nice outdoor area for food/drinks.
A good breakfast was served by lovely friendly staff.
The guy on reception who checked us in at 3pm was very polite/friendly and offered to take our bag upstairs.
The person on reception as we arrived earlier was not so friendly!!

Cons:

The stairs and corridors need a refurbishment, carpet really dirty, drab grey walls in need of fresh paint.
The bedroom was fairly clean but again drab & miserable colour scheme . Didn’t sleep all night the mattress was like a slab of concrete!
Sink hadn’t been cleaned (covered in toothpaste)
Shower doors needed a good clean.
Toilet brush needed to be put in the bin, it was disgusting!

The room was extermly small the furniture was old and the decor was old. The Tv was small and you could only access a few chanels.

Uncomfortable bed very noisy due to poor windows needed a blind at windows as when curtains were open people were staring in asked about using restaurant when booking in wasn't today it was cash only we only found out when going to use it no toilet roll in room when asked for some they were bringing it to us in the restaurant told them if they weren't taking it up to room I would collect it on my return to room

Brilliant and highly recommend.

The location. The staff. The food was ace! Street food at night cooked buy Chungs Daughter. Breakfast in the morning and the Sunday carvery is 💯 The bar staff and the other guests staying at the hotel. Thank you.
