Size of the room, aircon on for arrival and staff in breakfast room
No grab handle in bath for getting in and out of shower. Main mirror covered in smears. Bed uncomfortable. No lighting next to desk for putting on make up. In a heatwave having water in reception is great if its filled up, its the little things that matter. No mini fridge in the room
The environment, it was pretty special.
Breakfast... no avocado toast and it took them like 20 min to realize they didn't have avocados
Adore the old style and character in this hotel
Narrow into car park
Staff very friendly and thoughtful.
Nothing
Just up the road from the Lavender fields which was great
Value for money ? No !
Tiny room
Breakfast awful
Very expensive drinks
Stayed for Sunday lunch too and we had to rummage around a huge pile of soggy veg to find the meat which was not in existence really
Hugely disappointing stay here
Location was useful for our journey to the channel tunnel.
Very noisy room due to traffic noise from the street. It was warm weather so had to have widows open. Although even shut the noise was too much to get any sleep.
No air conditioning in a very hot room.
Stair, landing and room carpets are worn out and dirty. Didn’t want to walk round the room with out shoes on. Horrible.
Beautiful property. Very old and quirky. Fantastic staff, nothing was too much trouble. Comfy beds and good food.
Very hot in the bedroom. It was a heatwave but a fan just not enough
Emplacement. Parking.
Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are nice and clean. good location for walks and local visits to interesting places, pretty villate
Walls of bedrooms a little thin so when next door has tv on - comes through wall. But i guess we all have to be thoughtful about this!¬
Very comfortable. Incredible restaurant food, be sure to arrive hungry and in time to order your meal. Nice sitting out area. Good car park, but be sure to arrive before the evening drinkers/drivers get parked. Lots of charm inside. This is not a bland white box hotel. Great breakfast cooked to order.
Nothing
Lovely room, great backyard parking and tasty food at the pub downstairs
The location was lovely
The property needs updating and the halls and landing are in serious need of refurbishment. Carpets are coming up not laid properly. Maybe the underlay needs redoing. In the bedrooms, the carpet is coming up at the sides.
In serious need of makeover, not worth the money at all
Lovely location, clean comfortable
Nice bar and friendly staff.
The ribs were the best I have ever had.
It was very expensive for the room.£197.10.With a broken chair and being expected to pay extra money for a machine coffee with breakfast.
Also we were unable to get into.our room on arrival at gone 16.00 and had to pay for a drink while we were waiting.!
As usual no issues
Staff great
Food excellent
