Everything we needed
There was a large bar for walkers and residents it’s a shame there was no fire instead we had to make deal with spectacular views
Loved the location of the hotel, was a perfect spot to explore Buttermere Lake and Infinity pool.
Everything was spot on from the excellent check in, we arrived early parked the car. I nipped into the hotel to check this was ok and we mentioned we were going to get a coffee before we explored the area and was immediately offered one. The Room was very spacious with a bath and separate walk in Shower. Food in the Bar in the evening …. well what can I say it was lovely and tasty only downside was it was so good I didn’t have room for dessert. And I had my eye on the Gingerbread Pudding. Breakfast was exceptional.
All the staff we spoke to were fab and really friendly and helpful.
We will defiantly be returning in the coming months.
Idyllic location, excellent team
The location was a must for the Buttermere Half Marathon.
I had to wait an hour for my meal and the staff were very unapologetic and as a solo diner I felt that this was unaceptable. I had to ask twice where my food was. As I was taking part in the Buttermere Half Marathon I needed an early breakfast and this wasn't really understood by the staff.

The location is excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bedroom was very comfortable, warn and well furnished.
There is no guest lounge. The bar area was busy during the day but was very quiet after 6pm on the day we were there. The room was quite expensive for the overall package.
