Relaxing, cosy and calm! Lovely hotel on the lake. Recommend
Pros:

The food was great. Loved that the breakfast was made to order on the menu. Chef even customised an item for us. Good variety of options for food.
Location is great, you can see buttermere from the hotel and only a short walk to the trails.
The room was extremely specious, cosy and clean. Great atmosphere in the games room and in common areas. Free parking at the site for the duration of the stay. Great wifi strengths.
Receptionist were very friendly , helpful and knowledgeable - cannot fault the service!
Would definitely recommend!!!

Brilliant stay in Buttermere
Pros:

Location was great for Hiking, on-site parking was a plus. Facilities in the room itself were great, appreciated the in-house restaurant especially for the remoteness of the property.

Cons:

The firmness of the bed but especially how was the both pillows were, definitely struggled to sleep because of this. Also down to the added noise of other hotel guests.

Pros:

Breakfast was lovely and the walk around lake.

Cons:

The road we drove in on was awful, high drops either side. Too remote for us and the nearby pub was closed.

Excellent hotel with great staff
Pros:

The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and were particularly good with my dog

Cons:

The big puddle on the entrance to the car park needs sorting. It’s a bit of an obstacle course when walking from the car park to reception

Fabulous 👌. Malcombe's breakfast was superb. All staff were very friendly kind and helpful.

Fantastic gem of a hotel
Pros:

Buttermere Court Hotel is in a fantastic location between lake Buttermere and Lake Crummock. From our arrival the staff and hotel was exceptional. We were upgraded to the apartment which was incredibley spacious and immaculately renovated. Staff were so friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious.

Cons:

Felt conscious with two children on the creaky floorboards. But other than that the stay was perfect.

Pros:

It’s in an amazing location, we had a view of the lake from our window, and the staff really made the place. The receptionist was so helpful and friendly, and Jack who was in the bar area was very friendly and chatty with us, we had an issue with our food and he was extremely helpful in sorting the issue, and then giving us free drinks which was very kind and we didn’t expect. The food was lovely as well, the whole stay was just great, definitely will be returning as I’ve never been to a place with such friendly, happy staff.

We enjoyed our stay, and it was perfect for what we have planned.
Pros:

Absolutely stunning location, easy to access walks, beautiful lake, breakfast was amazing. Frendly staff. We could use parking for free after checking out which was a bonus.

Cons:

Access to the Hotel via very narrow road, scarry to drive if you have to pass another car driving in opposite direction.
We did not have fridge in the room despite different infrmation online but we were offerred to put our stuff in fridge near the reception which was fine.

A lovely comfortable and welcoming hotel and visit
Pros:

The staff were so friendly, couldn't do enough for you..the breakfast staff were very accommodating even provided my dog with his own breakfast a sausage and a bonio. The food was lovely, we ate our evening meal and breakfast at the hotel and were not disappointed. The room was comfy and clean and in a beautiful location on the edge of buttermere

Pros:

The room was very clean, the views were fantastic, the breakfast was great and the staff very nice and polite. The bar had amazing food, I would definitely come back

Cons:

The only things we had to say was that the shower pressure was really bad, and the floor in the rooms squeek when you walk, so when people go into their rooms you can hear them.
