Lovely stay in stunning surroundings
Pros:

Lovely surroundings with beautiful view of the lake. Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also excellent with fantastic vegan options.

We would definitely return staff were calm busy an attentive.
Pros:

Friendly welcoming hotel with everything you need,we stayed Saturday 4th July our son especially loved the snooker table where you could relax with a drink.food was outstanding and staff especially the lovely lady that checked us in,an the lovely man on the bar who also did hands on with breakfast,he went above and beyond checking we had everything we needed an asset to the team.

Nothing it was brilliant we loved hearing the sheep when the sun came up.

Pros:

The breakfast was exceptional. A range of buffet options available in addition to a large cooked breakfast. We also had an evening meal which again was a huge portion and delicious.

The staff were incredibly friendly, informative and always on hand.

The room was spotless and the view from our window overlooked Buttermere and the surrounding fells.

Nice comfortable room great views, lovely spot, will be back for a longer stay.
Pros:

food was great, lovely breakfast freshly cooked and hot . Staff were friendly and helpful we were able to check in at 1.30 - and parking is free.

Cons:

bed was a bit hard for me, and the curtains didn't fit properly so very light. The shower had no power at all the fixed head was fitted too high so the water was just a trickle - not really an issue for a one night stay.
