Short break
Pros:

Close to lots of hiking, staff very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Free parking whilst checked into hotel. Eggs benediction perfect, lovely decaf coffee on request lack of variety in free condiments in the room. No flavoured or decaf tea.

Cons:

Hot water in room barely warm! Small double bed. Full breakfast not enjoyed, eggs over cooked, bacon under cooked and fatty, black pudding under cooked. Overpriced for simple accommodation. Cobwebs on light shades, dust on window sills, hairs in bathroom, lack of security in simple door locks. I would expect more for the price.

Superb stay in Buttermere Court Hotel - gorgeous location and a splendid hotel.
Pros:

Fabulous location and view. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pool / snooker room was a pleasure for the evening. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the comfortable rooms. Great stay.

Cons:

The bar shut at 9 pm which seemed a bit early for residents - nice to wind down after a long day in the hills. A bit pricey, but that is to be expected for the location (spectacular) - worth the value I would say!

Pros:

Its close proximity to Buttermere lake is a definite plus. Lovely staff like Rachel amongst others are all very helpful and treats you like a star. The hotel in itself is so lovely and our room overlooks the lake. Highly recommended 👌
