Uno Hotel Rose and Crown Tonbridge

I had a very heavy bag. My room was up 3 flights of stairs and through numerous doors. No offer whatsoever to assist me. Parts of the room were filthy. I had to get wet wipes to clean the door handles and light switches. Windows inside and out hadnt been cleaned for months, the bottom of the lace curtains were black. Tea stains splashed all up the wardrobe door.Stains all down the base of the toilet. 1 small cup that looked like it came from the 1970's. Room was not serviced the next day. Complained that the window did not shut properly. Nothing was done about it. The shower was a trickle of water at best. All the cutlery at the breakfast table looked like it had been left by the previous user. Toaster took the bread through then it dropped out of the back un-toasted and I had to reach under the hot machine to get it. Had to have bread and jam the next 2 mornings. Was asked if I wanted milk for my coffee and man went off,put a cm of milk in a glass and bought that to me. Would not stay here again

More modern not enough tea and coffee in room

Saw staff on the first day, then nobody was around, even when checking out.
Listed amenities were not in the room despite the flier saying otherwise, again no staff being around meant we couldn't get anything.
Didn't see anyone working the bar at any point and no idea of who to approach for breakfast or anything either.
Shower was very temperamental, scorching hot and freezing cold back and forth.
Rack for the towels only had one full size towel and the rack itself is scalding hot, no warning.
The building is not that secure, you walk in through the front and straight up the stairs, check in was further back meaning the upstairs could be accessed by anyone at any time.
The window was a full size window which opened fully onto the back of the property, along with other rooms and windows which didn't feel safe leaving it open when needed
The room got very hot even with the window open, no fan or air conditioning so that's fun...
You hear everything from every other room, stomping feet, slamming doors etc. we were above the main door so all we heard was that slamming at all hours whilst the room above were possibly a marching band practicing.
The room was dirty, thick dust, unclean toilet, grime. Toilet didn't even fully flush properly.
Wifi was iffy on connecting too so that was a pain.
No Netflix on the tv as advertised.
Some plugs in the room didn't work
Main light at the doorway was broken and 2 lights on the ceiling in the room.
No safe in the room, safe required staff, again, no staff around.

The room i got bitten all over my body

We paid £129 for our twin room which was overtired with breakfast but was not included.
The property and bedroom we stayed is was not what was advertised on Booking.com. When we asked to complain the receptionist provided us with an email address that did not exist, the email address online does not work.

There was used towels in the bathroom, only one channel on the tv, stained sheet, mouldy walls, rust.

Up to the bathroom was dangerous in the dark, the city view lol was the side of the hotel, bed was small not enough pillows

The room was too hot, the heating was on and we couldn’t open a window to let in some air.

Az épület és a szobák a honlapon nagyon tetszettek. De egy új épületszárnyban akartak minket elhelyezni, ami nem tetszett. Kértem szobát a régi épületben, de a fürdőszoba elfogadhatatlan volt. A vécét nem lehetett lehúzni, órákig tartott, mire újra megtelt a tartály. A csapból vagy hideg vagy nagyon forró víz folyt, lehetetlen volt rendesen lezuhanyozni. Az ágy nem volt rendesen megágyazva, az első éjszaka a lepedő lecsúszott a földre.
