Pros:

Lovely place, very beautifully situated out of the way.
Loved the stuffed animals in rooms. Great variety of hot drinks including the most amazing coffee bags! Toiletries were amazing, so much so I have ordered a selection of sea kelp products after using them in the shower. The mini sewing kit was a thoughtful touch,plus the shower caps in bathroom. Overall a very relaxing stay. Thank you so much.

Great location for airport and comfortable.
Pros:

Adrian was very helpful. Location was very good, room met our needs (the bed was comfortable) and ample parking space.

At no point was any attempt made to contact me to let me know what the pub area was closed from 5pm for staff training.

Outdoor door for access to rooms was not lockable and as a single solo traveller I did not feel totally safe

Well thought out accommodation with attention to detail
Pros:

Very comfortable bed. Quality bed linen. Decent/powerful shower. Plenty of tea/coffee/real milk with large cups. Blinds and curtains for max blackout. Nice decor. Full length mirror.

Cons:

Personally I find the restaurant menu (lunch/dinner) a bit limiting and uninspiring. Also not great for GF options. However- steak was decent for the money - as is the house red wine.

Disappointed and will not return

The location

Cons:

There was no breakfast option, despite the fact that it was advertised as breakfast available for extra payment. I do not accept the excuse that they only serve it at weekends and booking.com won't change it on the system. I paid In advance with no option to cancel by the time I was aware of this.

My other issue is that the restaurant is a cashless operation and generally I do not frequent these on a point of principle.

The room was small with inadequate working space provided. This was more air bnb than a hotel.

Amazing
Pros:

beautiful pub and restaurants with rooms for overnight stay. Not really a hotel so much as a pub you can stay at. Rooms were great however. They don't do breakfast, but the evening meal was amazing. Shout out to the awesome staff too who were lovely and super helpful

Lovely hotel with beautiful location and great food.
Pros:

The location of the Wiremill is beautiful, by the lake. The terrace is lovely for outdoor sitting but also sheltered. The building is old and beautiful, on several levels. The food in the restaurant as well as the service was very good.

Cons:

The sleeping quarters are a bit small and at the back / side of the building overlooking the carpark.

Pros:

The location is perfect. View to the lake on a good day is amazing. Bar/restaurant setting is lovely, although it does close early. Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you.

Cons:

The room was in need of a little attention. We felt the carpet needed replacing and some paintwork needed to be done.

The stay was ok. Room damp
Pros:

Location is excellent

Cons:

The room was damp, bedding felt and smelled damp. Carpet stained just inside the door. Toilet roll holder was broken. Door handle to the glass door of the en-suite came off (grub screw was loose). Every time a plane went over head the TV lost its signal briefly
