Excellent value
Pros:

Very clean. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Good food also

Cons:

If you need to leave early in the morning you have to leave via a fire exit and cannot re enter… so I was unable to do my usual pre breakfast walk.

This is a lovely historic building with luxurious rooms. The staff were also very friendly. But this is a pub with rooms
Pros:

The bedroom - the Thomas Hewitt - was superb. We loved the way this historic building is used and is such a community asset.

Cons:

I’d stay there again so in truth there was nothing.

We had intended to stay in Liverpool city centre but due to Liverpool playing at home, prices were ridiculous £450 per n
Pros:

Warm atmosphere, friendly hostess (Karen) and her staff - perfect if you are happy to stay a few miles outside Liverpool but within travelling distance of the city centre.

Cons:

Everything was fine

Suited what we needed but only ok not good
Pros:

Breakfast was £15 extra. Room clean, however very cold on arrival, the one good member of staff sorted that. Bed awful, way way to soft, had back ache for a week after. Before checking in we met 2 friends and ordered 4 meals, 3 arrived, the 4th arrived when the 1st 3 had finished eating.

Cons:

The mattress.

Heerlijke kamers, Schoonen ruim, maar ga ergens anders eten.
Pros:

Heerlijke ruime, schone kamer; lekker Engels; prima bed en douche/bad.

Cons:

Alles was okay, de bediening in het restaurant was wat rommelig. Langer wachten dan nodig.

Could do better…
Pros:

Lovely room decor

Cons:

Music at 7:30am.
Glass bathroom door with bright green fire safety light shining through.
A dirty, stained, badly washed pillowcase and the previous occupants towel on the rail.
