hellhörig
Location
Creaky bedroom floors and limited hanging space in rooms.
The decor downstairs
Lovely duvet but linen was stained
Parking onsite is very convenient
The location is good
No one smiles. Very unhappy bunch.
The evening meal was nice for some and not so nice for others.
Although we all enjoyed the coffee dessert combos.
The room looked down on a staff area and there was a lot of talking and shouting even with windows completely shut.
Super tasty and filling breakfast
The building and gardens were lovely. Restaurant comfortable, staff friendly.
Tap in sink in room 1 barely working. Toilet flush awkward to use.
The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Could do with some glasses in the bathroom.
Good location with lovely patio area to sit in.
Bedroom was tired and looked out onto a scruffy flat roof. There was a sharp tile sticking out by the basin, toilet was difficult to flush and the tissue box was empty. The lock chain was missing from the door. Room was on second floor along a lot of corridors ( room 2) there is no lift and there was no offer to help us with our bags. We are pensioners and found it difficult. Food on floor under breakfast table. Sugar jars virtually empty and unclean with sugar cubes that looked as though they had been in them for months. No toast or cereal offered at breakfast just the cooked breakfasts on the menu. If these were available it was not offered. Breakfast of smashed avocado was a small portion with hardly any avocado on a thin piece of sourdough. Porridge requested by one of our party which came looking like liquid with lumps in.
We have family in the close area and will be coming to visit them again. We will not stay at the Pine Marten unfortunately unless there is assurance of improvements. We don’t feel these are unobtainable. We didn’t feel valued and at check in we were spoken to in a very rushed manner as the member of staff rushed off to the bar area within seconds. Amazing building but attention to detail lets it down.
Lovely looking old country house. The interior was fabulous. The bus for Harrogate was outside. The garden was lovely to sit out in the sunshine.
Our room in the loft was a bit small and the drains smelt but we were only there for 1 night. No cereal choice for breakfast
The garden was beautiful, the food was amazing and the rooms are lovely
Maybe allowing app access on the tv
Superb. Comfortable, large rooms. excellent dinner and breakfast, Second time I've stayed and no complaints on either stay. 35 minute walk to town (Betty's). Last stay lucky enough to have the sun and use the excellent beer garden.
The staff were excellent and helpful and the dinner in the restaurant was excellent.
Plenty of room and good facilities
All good
Well located for visit to RHS Harlow Carr. Evening food very good and outside area lovely. Bar area very nicely decorated, plenty of seating.
Breakfast options a bit random, lots of choice for hot options but NO cereal, fruit or bread offered. Breakfast staff, one waiter so served all tables along with covering reception. Some areas felt very neglected on the cleaning front with cobwebs etc very evident.
Not a great variety but what there was available was really nice
Everything was lovely but the staff were exceptional
