Lovely Hotel in a great location with friendly helpful staff.
Pros:

The rooms were lovely, if a little chilly on arrival, but the staff were very attentive and soon had the radiators on and warmed up. Beautiful hotel and grounds, easy car parking. Great location for visitng RHS Harlow Carr!

Cons:

The breakfast was a little disappointing. Usually a large hotel would have a good mix of Continental & English Breakfast options. But all that was on show in the breakfast room were tea, coffee and juice options and the menu didn't really reflect what was available. So we just had fairly average toast and a scrambled egg. Would have liked to have seen, or been made more aware of options available.

Harrogate getaway
Pros:

Liked the accommodation and it was good for 1 night stay

Cons:

There was no light outside our door...had tonise the torch on my mobile phone, to be able to see the lock to open the door
Also asked for a sofa bed...and thought this might have been ready upon arrival.. instead of us having to do this

Food was really excellent.
Nice bar and restaurant.

Lovely weekend away, the building is very historic and the grounds are nice. The bedrooms need some attention, decor/
Pros:

The property is lovely, the downstairs areas are lovely and clean and have a nice theme throughout.

Cons:

The rooms are quite small not how we remember it. Due to the age of the building there is visible damp problems in the rooms upstairs, and they can be very cold

Pros:

Location ideal very comfortable welcoming, nice decor. Have stayed here 3 times now and very relaxing hotel.

Cons:

Just had juice and cooked choice of breakfast. No cereal. Yogurts. Toast or croissant/muffins. Stated on menu in the room but not on the dining room menu. Shower door would have been better as a full door not half as water from the shower wet the floor. Still a lovely shower.
