Rooms cannot be guaranteed for late arrivals. If arriving after the stated check-in time, guests may be relocated to a different hotel.

Please note that the bedrooms do not have air conditioning, and that during the summer months oscillating tower fans will be provided instead.

Please note that dinner will not be available at this property on Friday and Saturday nights throughout December and January.

NOT A FOUR STAR HOTEL
Pros:

The hotel situation staff very pleasant and helpful.

Cons:

The fact Saturday night we came back from our son's wedding the bed was made but nothing else had been done no towels bins not empty tea cups still with morning tea in.
Sunday evening returned to find room had not been cleaned or touched in anyway
We were not happy complained to manager who wasn't really interested did give us a slight apology.
We felt for a 4 star hotel it wasn't.
Also the bathroom definitely neeed updating spoke to afew guests and they said the same.

I would recommend this Hotel
Pros:

It was close proximity to the wake because we were attending a funeral

Cons:

It was clean welcoming nice clean rooms lovely bed linen
The first night we sat in the restaurant and had most lovely haddock and chips perfectly cooked very welcome. We’ve had a five hour journey to get there.

Pros:

Great location and the venue for an event I was attending. Good view from the Harbour View room. Well stocked bar.
Food was okay.

Cons:

The place needs new carpets on the stairs and some of the areas were in need of redecoration. Front of house staff were good.
Breakfast a little chaotic with a queue to be seated as tables needed clearing

Easy to get to. Plenty of parking. Clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good choice of rooms .

Cons:

Restaurant expensive and had limited dinner menu. Buffet breakfast had good choices. However the hot section of food was mostly cold . Staff excellent.

Getting a bit tired.
WIFI speed was pathetic, even in the reception and bar area. Rooms, don’t even bother.
Typically around 4mbps.
Weird thing was that upload speeds were better than download speeds, which is unheard of.

An old hotel.. Rooms seem basic, requiring more attention to detail. There are alot of room which they are updating, though I would say the hotel is more 3 star. It served a purpose well for one night.

Weekend with gorgeous view
Pros:

Great location. Great value for money. Very helpful staff. Our meal at the restaurant on our first evening was excellent.

Cons:

The hotel is a little tired.
If you decide to have a later breakfast (like we did on the second morning) it was incredibly busy! (Although the young lady who was trying to find everyone tables did an incredible job)
