Tynedale Hotel

The hotel was in a prime position, located on the main promenade and within a short walking distance to the town centre. It offered good free onsite parking.

It was modern hotel that was tastefully decorated. It offered plenty of comfortable communal seating areas, both inside and out.

What was an added bonus was, the outside seating offered overhead heaters. This enabled you to sit outside of an evening, whilst still being warm on the cooler nights.

We stayed in a seafront room which offered amazing views of the seafront and promenade.

The rooms again were modern, spotlessly clean and offered good amenities. The only bit of constructive criticism, I would offer was, there was no fridge, which would have been good.

Food was of an excellent standard; freshly prepared, using good quality produce and was always hot.

The staff were extremely helpful. They were polite, welcoming and professional.

For those not wanting to leave the hotel in an evening, there was a licenced bar, offering a good selection of drinks, that were reasonably priced and table service was available.

Also evening entertainment was offered, being local singers. Again, a good little addition, for those not wanting to leave the hotel of an evening.

The hotel was ideally located on the sea front and only a short flat walk to shop, pubs, restaurants, coffee shops and pier.
With great kirb appeal, you are greated with an Impressive outside seating area with quality parasols and heaters..
The interior is not too shabby either with modern luxury furnishings and fittings.
On arrival we were greeted by welcoming staff who seemed genuinely pleased to help, shown to our room, (102) which was clean comfortable and spacious.
We were on a bed and breakfast deal, which had a good choice and was really tasty, served mostly by Marianna who was extremely efficient, cheerful and friendly as we noticed with all staff.
We also had lunch a few days and evenng meal, all of which were of great quality, well presented, reasonably priced and served with a smile.
All in all we could not recommend this hotel enough.

As always we had a lovely stay. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. A special mention for the lady who serviced our room who provided my friend with a top sheet so that she was more comfortable. Our room was beautiful and we are coming back.

The colleagues were lovely the ambiance delightful and the view stunning.

Breakfast was excellent, could not fault it. Service was good and food hot and served quickly.

Wonderful location ,guests very friendly and the staff amazing nothing was to much trouble no matter what you ask.We had a bay window sea view room,it was spacious with lovely comfy beds and a wonderful walk in shower with flat headed shower.
At the front of the bay was a coffee table with 2 comfy chairs, ideal to see the sea and watch the world go by, and even more amazing at night when all the promenade and pier was lit up.(we loved it sat there quite a bit relaxing with a brew and biscuit.lol).
The outside terrace is wonderful day and night for snacks meals afternoon teas and drinks and such a bonus having the heaters fitted into the canopys.
It is a little expensive I think for a holiday in the UK ,but its worth every penny, the food is amazing we couldnt find fault with any meal, one meal had cauliflower cheese which we love so we asked for an extra portion not a problem
The evening entertainment starts with just 1 or 2 games of bingo then a different singer each night.
The outside and inside of the building are spotless everybody works so hard.
With having the front room over the outside terrace if you went to bed before 11pm and had the windows open you could hear people chatting but on closing the windows you could hardly hear a thing then by 12pm it all closed down which is quite acceptable.,regarding the room noise we never heard any..

Excellent from start to finish well worth the money

Stayed here in August for a 3 night weekend.
The hotel has very modern decor .
Very well presented and very clean.
The room was very nice and bed very comfortable.
Restaurant was very clean and well presented.
Food was fabulous and plenty of choice.
The front terrace was like being abroad.
The staff very helpful and very pleasant.
This hotel is fabulous all round.
I can understand why it’s fully booked well in advance.
We only got in because we put our name down on the cancellation list and luckily a weekend came available.
Will definitely try to get in next year.

Situated on the sea front with easy access to the town and pier, its great for a stroll along the prom and has an amazing view of the Great Orme and the Little Orme. The Tynedale is a lovely place to stay with warm and welcoming staff, beautiful decor throughout and very very clean. Our room had everything you need or more, the decor and furnishings were done extremely well and the bed was very comfy (and large!). Lovely dining room and breakfast was great. We would recommend The Tynedale. Thanks to everyone for a lovely short break.

Short stay, 2 nights only. First time at Tynedale. Certainly won't be the last. A wonderful experience. Everything first class, with very friendly staff.
