Greatly appointed, beautifully maintained.
Room was a little musty, we reported it and they were very responsive.
The service/staff was the best I have ever experienced!
The room was amazing!
Food was exceptional!
Both the indoor and outdoor pools were great for the kids.
It was a bit more expensive than I am used to.
I am sure the current exchange rate did not help.
All the staff were amazing and cold not do enough - the room was lovely and as it was our anniversary they left a card in the room and a bottle plus sweets. The breakfast was the best I have had in years.
Nothing
The hotel was luxurious in every way. The staff were most helpful and friendly. The food and drink was excellent.
Staff were all excellent
Nothing
Delay of 30 minute for coffee at 9 55 from ordering and then asking staff again for it again at 10 25 was unacceptable. There were unruly children next to us at both brrakfazt and dinner. Suggedt separate are for families or curfew of begore 10 am at breakfast or 8 30 for dinner as done by otjer quality hotells.
The grounds, spa area and room quality
Beautiful setting, exceptional cosy luxury which isn’t easy to nail. Christmas decs were on point. Staff super friendly and professional.
Setting and location- walking to the beach was a highlight.
lack of repairs in the thermo pool tiles missing and damp on the columns. Needs dealing with
Felt truly welcomed. The Christmas decorations were beautiful on arrival 🎄🎄Our room was beautiful and the food (especially the lobster curry) was delicious 😋
What was there not to like?!!
All good -
Sadly not possible to change but a shame that surrounded by roads - can imagine once a very rural setting and now spoilt - but that did not spoil our stay which was short -
Beautiful quiet spa facilities, great service, luxurious room, excellent walks and location
Dinner was expensive for what it was
Paul and Paul were great - made us feel at home
Andy offered the best service at dinner, warm and welcoming
Dinner at the dining room was disappointing. Prices like in London Mayfair but the quality was just not there. £24 for a starter is a bit ridiculous.
The lack of a hot breakfast option in a 5 star hotel is disappointing and when breakfast was delivered in the room, it was incredibly noisy (at 7am)
Turndown service happened in a rush with us in the room
The buggies were often objects of friction but that's understandable
Checkout had a massive queue and felt disorganised - we even asked for a slightly later checkout and no one ever got back to us. Again, I would expect more from a 5 star
The whole experience is always fantastic at this hotel. The spa, staff, food and drinks are amazing. I always return to this hotel because it is simply one of the best!
It can be a little expensive but it is worth it
Staff excellent
