Pros:

Location and free parking.

Cons:

The furnishing and fittings were old and tired. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and really should go to the dump.

Very Friendly Staff, could not fault the stay nothing was too much trouble. Expectations are everything do not come here expecting the ritz but do come if you want a friendly welcome and a good night's sleep.

Cons:

The rooms whilst clean and tidy are not Five star, but perfect and certainly had a goodnights sleep.

Thumbs up - Recommend!
Pros:

Old school sports pub with traditional lounge. Welcoming feel and friendly staff & locals. The room was spacious and well stocked with tea/coffee/etc... good size soft towels, extra pillows available. There is plenty of convenient hanging space (not a wardrobe).
The shower is a little small and an old-school electric shower - so not powerful - but hot, and you don't have to wait forever for it to heat. Breakfast was hearty with options for cereal, toast, fruit juices, and cooked breakfasts.
It is easily accessible, close to main roads, and plenty of parking.

Cons:

There are no instructions on how to work the remote controlrol for the telly, but that's my only negative. If you're going to be in the room all night watching Telly, I wouldn't recommend it.
But I wouldn't recommend staying in your room with such a lovely company in the bar!
