Friendly staff and comfortable accommodation near town centre
Pros:

Close to the event I was going to at the Hardwick Hall.
Walking distance to the town centre.
The two pooches that live at the pub :)

Cons:

The entry to the bathroom… watch your head! The door frame can be hard.

Went to Darlington to collect a car so needed a place to stay within walking distance of the railway
Pros:

Very good location within easy walking distance of rail and bus station, close to town centre.

Cons:

No food offer, must get your breakfast elsewhere.

Excellent value for money, plenty of parking available
Pros:

For what I paid the room was everything I needed it to be. Spacious, excellent facilities and clean. Staff were incredibly helpful and kind!

Cons:

Walls are somewhat thin so I could hear the piping in the rooms adjacent. Very minor but the pressure in the shower was a little poor, not really an issue though.
