Pros:

Eine sehr freundliche Wirtin, ein sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück. Viele schöne Wandermöglichkeiten abseits des Haupttouristenstroms. Ich bekam ein großes Zimmer, was sehr großzügig war. Es lag hinten heraus und war ruhig. Ein großes Bad mit großer Dusche. Man kann sehr schön auf der Terrasse verweilen mit wunderbarem Blick auf den Alpstein. Ich bin rundum begeistert und kehre sicher zurück. Man kann auch gleich am Haus kostenlos parken.

Good bed, bad shower curtain
Pros:

I liked how comfortable the bed and pillow were also that the soap and shampoo were nice.

Cons:

The only thing I didn’t like was the shower curtain, when I turned on the water it would be sucked into the shower and I’d have to fight with it.

It is a authentic place with Appenzeller's family owners. Friendly, open and highly trustable people. Make you feel home !

Pros:

Owner were both extremely nice and flexible (i arrived late and i had to depart early, yet, owner woke up to prepare a fantastic breakfast!!)
Place is really worth its price - very good price/comfort balance
