Easy check-in, friendly staff. The breakfast was very good and generous. No problems with the wifi. The location was very good for us: a short walk to grocery stores, some restaurants, god bakery-cafe and the market. Parking was easy in front of the building.
The room was basic but decent and clean, the shared bathroom was located in the same floor. No shortage of hot shower water.
Good value for money, would stay again.
Nothing to complain really. The only inconvenience was that there was no shower curtain or separating wall around the shower basin so had to be very careful when showering to not flood the entire bathroom.
Le propriétaire est très avenant, ce qui n’est pas le cas des personnes à l’accueil/bar (elles ne parlent pas du tout anglais, la communication est très difficile).
Les chambres sont grandes, et dotées d’un grand balcon. L’ensemble est correct. Mais la salle de bain mériterait un bon coup de nettoyage (joints moisis, cheveux qui bouchent l’écoulement de l’eau).
En revanche, il y a de l’eau chaude, ce qui est appréciable.
Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et très bon, servi par des personnes sympathiques et précautionneuses.
Pour les repas, lorsque nous y étions, il n’était possible de manger sur place que jusqu’à 18h (c’était très bon). Il est aisé de se garer devant l’établissement pour ceux qui viennent en voiture.
Le fait que les personnes de l’accueil ne parlent pas anglais du tout (même pas des mots basiques comme « breakfast »).
La salle de bain sale.
Logement, personnel, écoute, disponibilité, propreté, calme, proche du centre, c'est vraiment très bien. Le patron est disponible, toujours prêt à vous aider.

-the rooms with shared bathroom are on the front of the hotel to the side of the street. So its pretty loud till 23:00 + there is a snack bar in front of the hotel which plays very loud music till the late evening
Location close to bus transport
No TV as expected during booking, no toiletries either.
Expensive price for a vegetable dish and one glass of wine.
Power cut , therefore no WiFi for several hours.

Big clean room with a large balcony, friendly and helpful hosts and staff.
Only 2 minor issues...doors were a bit tricky to room and balcony. Shared shower didnt drain properly so a wet floor sometimes.
In the Center of Assomada. Close to Aluguer meeting Pont. Authentic Capverdian ownership. Host knows European mentality, and undrrdtands German, French and English. Wife is a good Cook and manages kitchen and its staff. Try her home dessrts. If Grogue is your try than an authentical one with exceptional taste is here to come by. All at very favorable prices. Place where also locals meet and eat. Welcome to Cabo Verde

Nice, spacious room with large bathroom and balcony. A bit old-fashioned (which added some charm) but fully comfortable. Excellent big breakfast, including a cachupa with egg - a welcome energy boost before a day of hiking!
Location in the centre of Assomada which is not exactly a beatiful town but has a purely local feel and an excellent location for hiking in the interior of the Santiago island. Some hikes are accessible on foot, some by taking an aluguer (minibus) - and the aluguer station is just a few steps away from Asa Branca.
Some previous guests complained about street noise but we had a room at the back and it was quiet.
The adjacent restaurant was rather on the expensive side.

There is a big humidity in the rooms, all the items became wet overnight.
