Please note that the hotel's reception is located at Bahnhof Strasse 2-4, and is open daily from 08:00 - 11:00 and from 14:00 - 18:00. On Sundays the reception is open from 08:00 - 15:00.

In the room rates included is the guest card MeineCard plus for the GrimmHeimat. The public transport and 90 leisure facilities/activities in the region are free of charge for the guests.

Perfekt
Pros:

Das Frühstück (allesBIO!!!) war absolut vielfältig, extrem köstlich, und es gab die Möglichkeit, sich selber Lunchpakete zu zubereiten. Die Atmosphäre war entspannt, freundlich und familiär.
Wir hatten einen fabelhaften Balkon mit Seeblick.

Pros:

Liebevoll geführtes Hotel.Freundlicher Empfang.Tolles Frühstück mit vielen regionalen Produkten in Bioqualität.Zum Schloss Waldeck ist es nicht weit,auch zur Edeetalsperre.
Herrlicher Blick über den See von manchen Zimmern.

Nicht zu empfehlen in der Preisklasse finden sie was besseres

Das Bett war bequem und es war sauber mehr aber auch eigentlich nicht

Cons:

Viel zu teuer für das doch schon in die Jahre gekommen Hotel
Frühstück kostet 23 pro Person und dafür ist die Auswahl doch sehr klein und es gibt jeden Tag das gleiche.
Lage fanden wir persönlich nicht besonders

Absolute Frechheit war die undichte Dusche, beim duschen war das ganze Bad nass. Dies war dem Hotel bekannt, da im Bad ein Zettel lag. Aber trotzdem zum hohen Preis angeboten.

Es scheint eine Eigenart der Menschen in dieser Region zu sein: ein ruppiger Tonfall, der einem das Gefühl gibt, lästig und nicht willkommen zu sein.. ging uns zunächst im Hotel, aber auch beim Fahrer der Bimmelbahn und andern so.
Außerdem (ich hatte gebucht, die Freundin, mit der ich mich am Edersee traf, war aber zuerst da) verkaufte die Wirtin uns erfolgreich ein teureres Zimmer mit Seeblick, nachdem sie meiner Freundin erzählt hatte, ich hätte eins mit Seitenblick gebucht. Mag sein, aber da das Hotel bei weitem nicht ausgebucht war, hätte ich das upgrade aus Servicegründen kostenlos als Freundlichkeit empfunden - so ging es uns letztes Jahr am Rursee, wo wir eine ganze Suite zum Preis des gebuchten einfachen Doppelzimmers gratis bekamen, einfach so!

Dieses Hotel ist ein toller Ort um sich wohlzufühlen und zu erholen. Die Zimmer, das freundliche Personal und der gesamte Aufenthalt - alles zu unserer 100%igen Zufriedenheit.
Das Frühstück war sensationell gut und sehr lecker.

Pros:

Peace and quiet with amazing views, good food and amazing staff. You couldn’t ask for more.
Pros:

This is a fairytale location to escape too. The staff are super friendly and brilliant in every way! The local restaurants up the hill are super and easy to reach.
