Dirty, old, smelly, run down, needs a completely work over

The Barmaid was lovely.

Cons:

Nothing, the rooms were absolutely disgusting, the smell of mould, bed bugs and ants in the bathroom.
The chef was off sick so no breakfast was available and the place was never open when we were there for drinks or dinner, we booked for 5 nights but left the 2nd day due to waking up in the morning covered in bed bugs and bites.
The fridge in the room didn’t work and there was no kettle to boil water.

Way too loud
Pros:

Simple small hotel with a nice bar

Cons:

Since it was very warm and with no AC one had to open the windows at night. To the road was super pound and towards the church the bells go every 15 minutes from 7 am to 10pm….no sleep possible
