The staff was friendly
Definitely not worth the $155 USD per night. Check in was quick and the staff was friendly, but the room itself was a complete disappointment.
I booked a family room, but it turned out to be one very small room with three beds. I repeatedly asked the front desk to confirm it was a family room, and they kept saying yes, which was misleading.
The room was very outdated, with a drop ceiling that had bugs trapped inside. There were even bug wings falling onto the bed, which was extremely unpleasant. The bathroom was also old, small enough for one person at a time, worn, and I felt uncomfortable touching most surfaces.
It took about 5–8 minutes of running the shower before the hot water finally worked.
In addition although the hotel was empty they put us right next to another family so we heard them through the thin walls for a greater portion of the night. Everything smelled old the room, bed linens etc.. towels had stains and were shredding from previous use
Overall, the room felt more like something worth $60 USD per night at most. While the staff was kind and welcoming, the price point does not match the accommodations at all. I wouldn’t stay here again. We checked out and went to another hotel around the corner
We stayed in a room on the top floor facing the beautiful mountains which felt like an arms reach away. As far as we were concerned this was the best room in the hotel!! It had a sweet balcony where we spent most of our time & a waterfall so close that you could continually hear it. It was just beautiful! Close walk to everything! We’d definitely stay here again.
The lady that I assume owed the hotel with her husband was rude. It was almost as if she didn’t care for us because we didn’t speak Spanish? We tried to use the little Spanish we did know as often as possible all while trying to learn more. 🤷♀️ The rest of the staff were sweet & helpful.

The room was awesome with a massive terrace with a view of the waterfall. The thermal baths were a 5 minute walk away! Super restaurants within minutes- hot tub and pool looked amazing- we did use the hot tub once, it was amazing, just didn’t have time. The breakfast was also amazing! Asked each morning what we’d like! The owner Carlos made us feel super welcome! Gave us warm banana bread one morning. Requested ice countless times and they always smiled and assisted us.

The rooms aren’t big but well organised. I liked how the family room has a loft with two additional beds. Breakfast was great and the hotel accommodated our change of plans. (We stayed an additional night).
