Excelente atención de todo el personal
Pros:

El personal ha sido estupendo en todo momento: recepción, Guest Experience, camareros y personal de limpieza. Todos nos trataron con mucha amabilidad y cercanía, siempre con una actitud muy profesional. Las instalaciones están muy bien y la ubicación es difícil de mejorar, con la playa literalmente a un paso.

Property was close to Cala D’or Strip for Restaurants. All beaches only max 20min walk. Staff were friendly.

Cons:

Parts of the room could’ve been cleaner, skirting boards etc, curtains were damaged. Fridge was okay but not very cold, and the AC was okay but could’ve been better.

Me and my husband had a lovely stay at Barceló Ponent Beach
Pros:

The room balcony had a view of both the pool area but most importantly the sea which was amazing. The buffet was also very good and had many options and changed every day- big variety

Cons:

Lifts were very slow to come (we were on 7th floor so really needed the lift to go up and down the room) but I believe it was because the hotel was full with people during the high season that we visited (beginning of August)

Leider durchweg enttäuschend - Keine Empfehlung
Pros:

Buffet mit täglich wechselnden Gerichten / Nachtischen. Durch die Bank weg eigentlich sehr lecker (spanische und internationale Küche). Ebenfalls die Siebträgermaschine an der Strandbar hatte einen guten Kaffee produziert. Mitarbeiter der Bar (hier ein großes Lob an Diego und Miguel), sowie der Techniker Tomas waren freundlich im Gegensatz zur restlichen Besatzung.

Lage des Hotels direkt an einer kleinen Bucht mit hervorragendem Sandstrand und klarem Wasser.

Die Möglichkeit nach Check-Out am Hotel zu bleiben und die Möglichkeit zu haben zu duschen, bevor man sich auf den Weg zum Flughafen macht.

Cons:

Wir haben vom 08.08. bis 12.08. knapp 2.000 € bezahlt und sind froh, wieder zu Hause zu sein. Für 4 Sterne und All-Inclusive eine massive Enttäuschung.

Check-in: Ankunft nachts um 2 Uhr. Der Mitarbeiter (Omar) fertigte uns im Schnelldurchlauf ab – parallel telefonierte er und sprach mit anderen Gästen. Keine Rückfragen zur Anreise, kein Lächeln, keine Infos zu Essenszeiten, WLAN oder Zimmerlage. Allgemein wirkten 80 % des Personals desinteressiert bis genervt. Man fühlte sich bei einfachen Fragen fast schon schlecht.

Zimmer: Beim Anfassen des AC-Bedienpanels habe ich einen Stromschlag erlitten (Handschmerzen am Folgetag), da das Panel durch die extreme Luftfeuchtigkeit leitfähig wurde. Bedienung in der ersten Nacht nur mit Papier möglich. Seitens der Rezeption gab es nicht einmal eine Entschuldigung/Wiedergutmachung. Zimmertelefon war kaputt. Betten glichen Klappbetten.

Trotz Einstellung auf 10 °C herrschten gefühlt 25 °C bei hoher RLF. Papier und Kleidung wurden klamm im Zimmer.

Schimmel & Hygiene: Schimmel an AC und im Bad, verstopfter Abzug, korrodierte Armaturen. Der Stuhl war voller Schweiß-/Sonnencremespuren und unnutzbar. Keine Klobürsten (ebenfalls in anderen Bereichen des Hotels!) vorhanden (die arme Putzfrau). Das Zimmer roch nach Chlor.

Service/Hotel: Ein zugesagter Zimmerwechsel erfolgte nie. Der Techniker reinigte zwar den Filter und föhnte das AC-Panel, der muffige/modrige Geruch in Zimmer (und Gängen) blieb jedoch. Auch andere Gäste beschwerten sich an der Rezeption über dieselben AC- und Schimmelprobleme – absolut kein Einzelfall! RLF im gesamten Hotel ein massives Problem.

Aufzüge brauchten ewig – Treppenlaufen war ein Running Gag unter den Gästen und deutlich schneller.

Sonstiges: Pool sehr klein (max. 30 qm). Im Speisesaal kaum AC (erdrückend schwül) und laut wie in einer Kantine.

Fazit: Das Service-Niveau glich eher einem 2–3-Sterne-Hostel. Für diesen Preis und diese Sterne-Kategorie erwarten wir DEUTLICH mehr.

Ingen aircondition i spisesal.
Ingen mulighed for at spise ude (hvor det kunne lufte lidt)
Mangelfuld bordaftørring spisesal (ikke ordentligt og madrester blev skubbet på gulvet så man træder i det)
Tjenere tabte mad på gulvet når de fyldte op i buffet og fik det ikke tørret op. Andres tabte mad blev heller ikke tørret rettidigt op.
Tjenere gik jævnligt i vejen for gæsterne. Ingen respekt.
For få solvogne. For få parasoller. For lidt plads til alle de gæster der ville ligge på solvogne på siden med Cala Ferrera.
Elevatorer uden air condition og fuldstændig håbløse at stå og vente på.
Ingen opholdsrum indendørs i løbet af dagen med TV eller siddegrupper til spil og samtaler.
Hotellet kunne ikke bestille taxaer man kunne stole på ville komme.
Slidt hotel med mange revner i vægge. Dør til badeværelse smuldrer i bund fordi bruser ikke afskærmet mod dør.

Pros:

Private access to beach was amazing.
Good bars and live shows every night.
Good location to bars and restaurants

Cons:

Staff could be more clearer with what’s included with half / full board. Each staff member gave you different answers to which restaurant you could or couldn’t access and when. The lifts were really slow. The lobby didn’t have aircon and the buffet for breakfast and dinner was the same. No aircon sadly so it was quite hot in there.
