Fabulously restored nunnery is a peaceful, exquisite country hotel
Pros:

This converted nunnery of the 17th century is wonderful in just about every respect, from the long paved entry road through the scrub forest to the arrival in a beautifully patterned stone courtyard to exquisitely antique-furnished corridors and rooms. Meals were also very good (buffet breakfast) to excellent (dinner, choices for a main course included veal and duck). Meals are served in a glass-walled pavilion added to an outside wall. The overall peaceful quiet atmosphere is wonderful. So is the faultless plumbing. There's even a grand piano and furnished pool table for guests in a second building.

Cons:

Staff was completely polite and correct but a bit lacking in personal warmth.

Cons:

It was a hot day and we had driven a long way and when I asked for a drink at bar I was told it was opened for another 30mins, wouldn’t go out of their way which is disappointing
