Quite interesting
Pros:

I arrived late and left early as I had little time to stay. I took a walk and there's nice architecture to see in the area between station and hotel. Staff was very kind and accessible, same about the staff of a fast food and grocery store nearby that were open at night, they helped me find the hotel when my mobile died, despite my very basic French skills. Simple accomodation, that was just what I needed

Pros:

The room was clean and quiet at night. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The owners were pleasant and friendly.
There was a good bus service into the centre of the city but on foot it was a good 20-25 minute walk to the centre so l’Aiglon is not exactly centrally situated.
However, it is a one star hotel and therefore simple and basic and that needs to be borne in mind in relation to this review.

Cons:

Although clean towels provided and very good shower, the ‘en suite’ bathroom was ‘shaved’ off the bedroom and therefore the ‘door’ was a flimsy folding (pleated) affair which left very little room for much movement in the bathroom itself and one was positively squashed in order to sit on the loo.

Comfortable stay.
Pros:

Walking distance to the train station, downtown center, and restaurants nearby, the location is very convenient. The room is clean and comfortable.

Cons:

The breakfast costs over 6 euros it is a bit pricey from my take as I had a croissant, small glass of orange juice, and coffee. It depends on individual though.
