Good last minute stay! Inexpensive and simple. Nice location!
Pros:

Location to the Airport and Edinburgh, beautiful location, quiet, friendly staff.

Cons:

Uncomfortable bed and pillows left me very stiff. No mini fridge for food, but not unexpected.

Done us for 1 night but won’t be back
Pros:

The room was compact , basic but clean. Breakfast was good. The rest of the place need a lot of upgrading and cleaned up

The road into it, once you find it. The property is in a poor state of repair

The location and price were suitable for our requirements. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Love these small family-run hotels
Pros:

This little family-run hotel was perfect for our small group of friends - comfortable accommodations in a charming old building, delicious breakfast, and Brent, our host, was engaging and helpful. We hope to return for a longer stay!

Spotless clean bathroom. Great value, breakfast. Value for money if you are on a budget.

Cons:

Facilities were quite basic. No shampoo or hairdrier supplied. Beds were very firm, which we found were not the most comfortable. Driveway had huge potholes.

Pros:

7mins walk to the train station & parking. Room was spacious

Cons:

Room was very light, blinds didn't block out the light, walls are paper thin, extractor fan in the bathroom sounds like an airplane. No shampoo or conditioner. My niece had washed her hair before bed & no hairdryer in the room (removed as people have been taking them with them, which is fair enough but as customer if they need one on checking in).
