Pros:

The owner was a wonderful host, ensuring we had everything we needed and giving us lots of helpful information. Very close location to the train station was great, we caught the train into Edinburgh for the day.
The hotel was exceptionally clean and the cooked breakfasts we had were delicious and piping hot. Would definitely stay there again.

Ok for a 1 night stay, nothing more. Price reflects this as I was room only.
Pros:

Did not have breakfast, room was clean but was basic . It was a single room as I was on my own ok for 1 night stay but wouldn’t want any more. Price was fair for this stay.
Only meet one person of staff & was friendly as you should expect if you are a paying customer. If you want a one night stay at reasonable price this is good

Cons:

Could hear people walking around as floors weren’t carpeted & made a lot of noise. Thin walls & loud closing doors. Room smaller than expected even for a single room.
Poor utensils & small television.

Pros:

Lovely, friendly hotel. Very close to train station for access to Edinburgh. Rooms very spacious & staff very helpful & frindly. Will definitely stay here again & will recommend to friends.

Friendly helpful staff.
Plenty of parking.
Clean and tidy.
Towels changed daily.
Very good shower / bathroom.
Great value!
Coffee tea in room.
The breakfast smelt nice.
24 hr access.

Cons:

Very bumpy driveway.
Creaky bed.
Cold room, radiator maybe just needs a bleed? (Someome left the window open all day after making up the room)
However the bathroom towel rail was a good back up!
Slightly noisy from the next door room, unavoidable due fo design.
Negatives just mentioned for constructive reasons.

Comfortable and excellent value for money.
Pros:

The hotel was comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was excellent value for money and I would recommend, we had a very good nights sleep. The owner was so friendly.
