The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The second time we have stayed at Two bridges we love it ,so relaxing in a wonderful setting, the staff very helpful and polite, the evening before we left our dog had an episode where he wasn't well, the young man on reception was so helpful when I asked him about local vets incase needed, thankfully we didn't need one and he is now recovering at home also the lady that checked us in very friendly and helpful, will be back next year
Nothing we didn't like all was good
Great location
Oldie worldie
Tolle Lage inmitten des Dartmoors. Sehr saubere Zimmer. Frühstück sehr vielfältig, man kann zusätzlich noch diverse Eiergerichte bestellen.
Es war noch sehr heiß, als wir ankamen. Darauf sind die Engländer noch nicht eingestellt, allerdings gab es Ventilatoren.
Location great.
Food good.
Overall experience was good.
No shower in room.
Betten und Essen
Typisch englisches Hotel inmitten des Dartmoors.
Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, das Essen war okay, Portionen überschaubar - für den Preis.
Lovely hotel in great location. Our room was spacious and light with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were attentive and helpful
We didn’t dislike anything. A fridge in the room would have enhanced our stay (but the staff were very helpful with letting us use their fridge)
Dinner in the restaurant was tasty but with very small portions and expensive
Lovely place, staff really helpful and friendly. Bed comfy. Lovely happy anniversary pudding plate
Too hot in bedrooms needs air con or better fans and no fridge.
Good location in centre of Dartmoor. Excellent restaurant.
We thought the restaraunt staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. Thank you so much good-people! At dinner, they didnt even raise an eyebrow as we ordered lots from the great selection of starters only...We're tapas people. Havent had a better breakfast anywhere in the World. The sunny weather and being outside having a drink was wonderful. The relaxed atmosphere about the whole place was perfect...If it had a beach Two Bridges Hotel would reflect bare foot elegance!
Bar service was rather slow. After a long walk in the heat...We were ready for a cold coke! Reception didnt really take notice of us after we approached and started the conversation...answering phone and speaking to other staff members, not focusing on who's in front...The Guest. Maybe I'm old school. Overall, Its difficult to find anything we didnt like though. Rooms are dated as is the whole decoration (very clean and well kept)...please dont change a thing! PS: It was fun wondering around outside trying to get WiFi but in Winter it may not be so. BUT look where you are!

Alles bestens!
Location is stunning. The old layout of the place is really romantic and I appreciated how dog-friendly the place is.
The staff are very friendly, and really flexible in billing and letting us run a tab for everything.
I’ve been to Two Bridges a few times but this most recent was a little disappointing. No flexibility in breakfast timings (which means the earliest breakfast is actually relatively easy to catch for most guests, which means it’s pretty busy, staff are really stretched and waiting times are quite long for breakfast, but also that your customers can’t really get out walking early, which given your location most of us were!).
I felt the food was very expensive. Perhaps that’s just what food costs but the portion size in particular matched against the price was hard to swallow. For starters I had the salmon dish with horse radish; that heat was barely detectable. Sticky toffee pudding was excellent. On previous visits we’ve been pleasantly surprised by delicious bread for the table, or an amuse-bouche, but there was none of that which further made the price point sting a little.
Breakfast portions were quite small and the buffet was a bit limited in choice
Gorgeous location
We were in a room on the ground floor and the kitchen and there were lots of doors banging from 6am onwards
