We can say we liked everything.
There was nothing we didn't like.
Lovely location, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff
Unfortunately they were still waiting for National Grid to mend their electricity supply and had to operate on a generator, which kept tripping out and thus power to the hotel was lost. I hope NG get a move on for the hotel's sake
We loved our overnight stay at The Two Bridges. Everything was perfect. Best nights sleep I've had in ages. Meal was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Wish I could have stayed longer.
Breakfast was first class and the stafff in the hotel were first rate
Amazing staff, friendly and helpful, made the stay wonderful
Fantastic location and comfy beds, great food.
"The staff across reception, the bars, the restaurant, and housekeeping were exceptionally friendly, cheerful, and helpful—truly some of the best service I’ve experienced in years. They are a massive credit to the business.
Our room was comfortable, spotless, and wonderfully quiet, making for a very relaxing weekend on the Moors. The unexpected upgrade to a four-poster bed was a lovely surprise—thank you!
We also thoroughly enjoyed our meals, from the excellent table service at Saturday dinner to the great variety at breakfast and a fantastic Sunday lunch. While the food and wine were both excellent, I did find them to be a little pricey.
Overall, it was a perfect stay all round."

Staff were friendly and attentive. Rooms clean,.comfortable and spacious
We go regularly with the family , love the location , we go on long walks and love the old feel and history of the hotel.
Excellent but room too hot (could not change thermostat). There is no separate bar area and the dining/lounge looks tired. The outdoor area with the stream and dicks was lovely but there is no undercover outdoor seating when it's rain. It's super dog friendly
No covered outdoor seating. No separate bar area that is not part of a slightly tired dining/lounge area.
Old world charm

The food was good, and the log fire was a welcome addition. It was a good quality hotel without being too formal .
Choice of food on evening menu
excellent taste
very comfortable and large room
Dinner - the choice between an expensive tasting-type menu and a very limited and run-of-the-mill menu - basically fish and chips, sausage and mash, a cold salad (on 30 December), a much more expensive steak and a couple of other very ordinary items. The sort of food I would cook regularly at home. One of us was vegetarian and his choice was even more limited. Very disappointing. Especially since we are a captive audience in the hotel on Bodmin Moor on 30 December! Last year our choice at the same time of year was much better.
The hotel is in a beautiful location. Check in was smooth and I was given a menu do that I could order via room service later on. My room was 33 and on the ground floor, it does have a restricted view because of a fire escape.
The bed was comfy and the bathroom had plenty of hot water. Food was nice, I used room service for my evening meal which came hot and on time. I took breakfast in the main restaurant and that too was very enjoyable.
Overall my stay was nice however there were a few issues.
Phone for room service not working, I reported to reception and the receptionist huffed a bit before getting maintenance. He was very helpful but it could not be fixed so I had to order at reception ( no phone signal on mobile either) asked for fresh milk for my tea tray and was told to order at bar. Long wait/ tiny jug
The table in my room was missing a foot so would not stay level without a wedge. The TV is too small for the room. Only one bedside table, fine for me as was travelling solo but it’s sold as a double room.
No Worcestershire sauce to go in tomato juice at the bar… barman apologetic tho and did try and find some. No luck.
Bathroom a bit dated but functional.
Tea tray lacking lustre for a hotel of this calibre.
Staff on whole were friendly and helpful, receptionist at check in could have been more helpful. Receptionist at check out more friendly but confused as to what my bill was for. Description very misleading.
