Very nice, beautiful building in a lovely location, great views across the bay. Booked for an evening meal, which was very good. Great service and good food in a lovely room. Room was clean and tidy with everything that was needed.
Parking was a premium. We parked in the bay and the walk was a little steep. The receptionist directed all the information to my partner, male. When the booking was in my name female. A little odd 🤨
Great position and view
The hotel was very dated. The staff were good but all foreign so it lacked the Scottish experience
Lovely property, ongoing effort to keep hotel looking clean and refreshed. Variety of areas to sit and enjoy local artists work, sea views and variety of games/activities to take part in. Upgraded room was spacious with excellent views of Tobermory. Breakfast buffet was well set out and lots of options available. Dinner was lovely and there wasn’t a long wait between order and service despite being busy. Excellent location.
We had an issue with the centrally controlled radiator turning up to 30 degrees overnight which resulted in broken sleep. Staff did work to help with this which was appreciated.

Billiard Tisch zur kostenlosen Nutzung ist auch vorhanden!
Leider keinen Aufzug, was aber an dem Alter des Gebäudes liegt.

No lifts and plenty of stairs (but helpful staff), limited parking
Friendly and helpful staff, excellent views, very clean.
We found the beds a little uncomfortable. The king and the double were two single beds pushed together meaning there was a gap in the middle. Only a tiny bit of loo roll left in bathroom, and no staff member around to ask for more.
Hotel was beautiful, great location, and the restaurant on site was incredible.
The dining room and patio had beautiful views and the staff was very welcoming
The comfortable chairs were a bit dated and needed to be replaced

L’aspect vieillot de cette belle demeure qui a perdu son âme et ses équipements d’époque au fil du temps et de ses propriétaires successifs. Pas de salon douillet pour les soirées d’automne. A noter, pour ceux qui n’en ont pas, le nombre important de chiens de clients dans les étages et la salle à manger. Enfin, pour ceux qui viendraient sans voiture, sachez que l’hôtel n’a pas de service de navette et que vous devrez monter la côte à pied avec vos bagages.

Horrible mattress in room 5. Literally could see a permanent indentation of someone’s posterior from likely 14 years of use.
