Breakfast was good.
Rooms weren't made up as requested and staff attitude weren't the best when we asked for it to be a twin even though i had requested 2 beds. Bed bases where filthy. Beds very squeaky and uncomfortable. The noise coming from extractor fan in room was unbearable.
Location is very good, but many steps for the shortest route to the main street and harbour.
Breakfast was fine, reasonable choice and help yourself.
General internal condition poor, well used, old, stairs and foyer carpet looks dirty and old.
Our room, shower over bath, also unused shower half removed and physically in the way, so our shower was a bath connection type.
Parking can be difficult, I was blocked in by another unknown customer.
la vista sul golfo e sul porto è veramente eccezionale. Non mi stancavo di guardare fuori dalla finestra, peccato che non c'era un piccolo balconcino, ma in cambio la terrazza del ristorante è bellissima! Una sera abbiamo avuto ottima musica dal vivo nella sala ed è stato veramente emozionante!

We wrote to the hotel that we were older and had luggage- how did we get to the hotel-they wrote back -only a few steps up the hill.... It was gruelling long & very steep and exhausting! the alternative we found out was 4 or 5 very steep steps that were wet with rain.When we arrived and told the staff they said " well there were taxis listed on the info (small print and just part of other info. When we went to leave - there were no taxi's and then we were told we had to have ordered a taxi a day ahead. -Never given that information,finally the staff tried to help and called for taxis -none available. last minute one showed up and took us down the hill.
food was pretty terrible- scallops were like rubber and fishermans platter was very dry -mussells were dried out salmon, everything.
I appreciated one of the staff that tried to help us with taxis!!!

The view was spectacular and our room was spacious and comfortable.
Poor breakfast with very bland food, the menu for the evening meal was not very inspiring but I did have langoustine which was good. The menu could do with a bit of modernisation. The hike up to the property would put me off going back.
The view was amazing, we had a very large family room for just 2 people so had more than enough space.
The views from the bedrooms and the dining room were simply breathtaking. If you don't mind a bit of an uphill climb on your way back from the harbor, there's really nothing that beats this location in Tobermory. The staff was also kind enough to offer us a complimentary room upgrade, and they were very helpful during our whole stay.
The hotel is dated and is in need of some repairs. The rooms are still perfectly comfortable, but they could use a little facelift!
Location and views are great
Our room looked like it hadn’t been decorated (or deep cleaned) since the 70s. Wallpaper hanging off from water damage, cobwebs & dust all over

There was no lift and the shower room had an awful smell when we arrived
