Nothing
Location is fairly central to the town. All amenities are within walking distance.
Choice of fruit at breakfast was limited
Clean, good food and portions. And staff friendly. And nothing a bother to them
I m disabled and they made my stay very enjoyable.
Big commendation to Mike and Allan for all their extra help.
Warm room, large bedroom, comfy bed
Plenty of parking and easy to find
Let’s start with the noise — it was unreal. It felt like sleeping in the same room as the person upstairs. I could hear them moving in bed, with the floorboards creaking every time they shifted. I was lucky to get a couple of hours’ sleep per night.
The room itself is best described as dated. The TV is like an iPad mounted on the wall, and it’s clear there has been very little investment to modernise the space. The approach seems to be “it worked 20 years ago, so why change it?”. The shower took around five minutes for hot water to come through, and condensation was a real issue. Considering the £135 per night price tag, this is excessive for what you actually get.
Check-in and check-out were as frosty as it gets — not much more can be said about that.
The dining experience was fine; the food was okay. However, part of the experience involves the service staff dragging a massive specials board around the restaurant. It’s partially mounted on wheels, and it almost feels designed to make you feel sorry for the poor staff member hauling it over, so you feel obliged to order something from it. Honestly, I was just relieved when it was taken away and didn’t tip over.
Friendly staff and great breakfast

Aufmerksames und zuvorkommendes Personal. Gutes Frühstück
I booked this hotel for my colleague and she said this: "Park was very good - functional, comfy, warm". Not a lot of words but a good recommendation all the same!
