Pros:

Good to have a pub close by

Cons:

The room had previously had damp and work done to repair it but the decorating hadn’t been finished so the room looked untidy. Some drilling started at 5am too.

Pros:

Room lovely and comfortable

Cons:

We had to to pay more money for breakfast if our choice did not fit a criteria that we were unaware of when we booked the Inn with room and breakfast.

Reasonable pub accommodation
Pros:

Room was a good size and bed comfortable. Wifi worked well. Nice shower. Clean. It's a busy pub but the rooms are in a separate corridor so no pub noises at night. Was looking for a cheap, functional place to stay - and this fit the bill.

Cons:

Bit of noise through the wall from next door. Didn't pay for breakfast but went down to the restaurant for one morning - choice was a full fry-up or porridge, no buffet-style continental breakfast. Staff seemed rather too busy talking between themselves to help me. View out of my window was the car-park. There was a smart TV in the room but couldn't seem to get it to connect to the internet.

Nice hotel, fair price, perfect for visiting someone in Queen Alexandra Hospital.
Pros:

Check in was quick and easy, the staff took the time to explain about pub opening times, breakfast, who to contact in an emergency etc. Room was clean and tidy. Excellent location if visiting someone in the hospital as it’s only a 5 minute walk to the main entrance. No noise from the pub, though we did stay mid week, not sure about weekend noise.

Cons:

The only complaint I had was that the pillows were very lumpy.
