The room was very comfortable with everything that we needed for the few day's we were staying. The staff were very helpful and kind during our stay. There was a good selection to choose from at breakfast, the cooked breakfast was exceptional.
The only disappointment was the shower as the water was not very hot.

An easy bus to Gunwharf Quays

Despite being part of a pub their was no noise from the pub in the room. Although the advertised EV charger is in fact a public charger in an djoining car park, it was still quite convenient for topping up the car.
There were very few healthy options at breakfast. Almost everything was fried. There wasn't the usual buffet of cereals, fruit etc. which one expects to find. No fridge in the room. The iron, available by request didn't produce steam very well.

Great location, just 10 minute drive to Portsmouth ferries. Friendly, helpful staff and good food. Room was compact but had everything you need. Comfy bed and very quiet.
There is no air con so in the heatwave the room was hot, but a fan is provided which helped along with the sheet that could be used instead of the duvet. If staying more than one night storage might be a bit limited.
