Pros:

Convenient location. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Great shower. A fan was provided which was very welcome in this hot summer.

Cons:

The pillows were rather flat and lumpy.

Pros:

staff were excellent, all areas were clean, but a little tired, breakfasts were huge, car parking was a bonus, good location for onward ferry travel

Cons:

rooms and bar were extremely hot, however we did have a fan in our room, our room could do with a bit of redecorating as paint was peeling off walls, but reasonable

Lovely stay
Pros:

2nd time I’ve stayed here, lovely and homely, staff are lovely and very helpful. Busy little pub, the food is lovely.

Wouldn’t return, as didn’t sleep well.
Pros:

Staff were lovely and attentive, managed to give us early check in by 2pm.

Cons:

The beds were very uncomfortable, bathroom had a strange smell, could hear surrounding rooms and everything in the hallway, to doors closing, people’s conversations and people walking. Only received one pillow each, was late before we got back and noticed. Dirty throw on the end of the bed.

Ideal if you need somewhere to stay prior to or after a ferry crossing.
Pros:

Have stayed before as it’s only 12 mins from ferry port. Easy to get to from M27.
Staff are friendly, the rooms are comfy and we had a fan for overnight during heatwave.
Good in pub is great; both breakfast and the evening meals we’ve previously had.
