Lovely property in beautiful surroundings .food & service were excellent . Room was great value . My stay was during a heatwave so it was very hot in the room; however we had a fan in the room And I came prepared ( with extra hand held fans)
Loved the fluffy white towels !
Breakfast was great & plenty of time for checkout .
Overall, I would definitely stay here again.
Nothing . Loved the property .
Really friendly staff, lovely old pub with good food, room was great, clean and a good size.
Bathroom was a bit small
A warm welcome at the bar. The room was small but with everything well laid out. The fan provided was very effective in keeping the temperature down. Breakfast was nice.
The room was somewhat tired with rotting windows. Given the price it felt like poor value for money.
Cosy
Nothing
All very good
Clean, modern, comfortable
The price. 1 night for £250 is extremely high for a room that doesn't even provide water
Lots of parking.
Unfortunately our room had a strong smell of damp. I mentioned it to the receptionist when we left.
Breakfast was good. Accomodations fine too.
Nothing.
Nice accommodation
Poor wi fi in rooms
Clean friendly and food excellent
Warm welcome, lively atmosphere
Pub singer
No air-conditioning but fan was very welcome. I know this is a challenge for pubs and the weather was very hot.
Location
Small room hit head on eaves (which bed is placed under) when got up in the night. Could not open the windows far. On return from event at 1105 were spoken to by staff to take our drinks outside or our rooms (12 of us staying) all in 60-80’s. Breakfast hugely disappointing with hard poached egg and toast that was so hard you could not bite into it
Lovely rooms good food great staff
Hot and stuffy room -over the car park and pub exit - I had asked for a quiet room
Stuffy hot and aged
Location was ideal for RAF base. Nice pub
Room very small. Breakfast was stingy
Clean, good facilities and accessible
Hot weather and window in room had not been open. With only a small fan the room was v hot
