If you want to visit an old tráditional pub with rooms with a true a British feeling this is the best one in the Godalmi
Pros:

Exceptional value great room cozy and comfortable.
Very lovey friendly and helpful female staff.

Cons:

The food was not to our taste and could provide some better healthy choices :) however as the staff were so helpful and nice it did not matter !

We have stayed at this hotel before and it is convenient for our requirements.
Pros:

We only stayed one night and did not have breakfast because we did not have time. Dinner was fine but some choices were not available.

Pros:

Very friendly and helpful staff - especially as I had to arrive late.

Cons:

Bit tatty around the edges - scuffed paint etc. no way of locking door from inside room.

I missed their first night of the booking when my car broke down, but was able to stay the next two nights as planned

Lovely hotel with great bar and restaurant with a warm welcome guaranteed.
Pros:

We had such a warm welcome and Nicky and the staff looked after us during our stay. We very much enjoyed the cocktails and bar food which were excellent value and delicious.
The room was very comfortable. We had a great stay.

Was happy with my stay but would try different location next time.
Pros:

Location was within easy range of local town of Godalming which suited me and gave a choice if I wanted to go walking.
Food was tasty.

Staff friendly.

Cons:

Breakfast was a bit disappointing as they didn’t even make their own porridge. It was instant made with water.

No mention about access. They have a ramp that leads into the reception/ bar area rather than the more visible steps which are difficult to negotiate with a suitcase. Only found ramp on departure.

Not being able to see out of the windows in the room made me feel claustrophobic.
