Pros:

Staff are always nice. It's better now the pub is open, restaurant opening soon so will be another plus. Some rooms fully refurbished others only part done.

Cons:

All was OK, refurbishments going on around hotel, will make it better once completed.

Second time I've Stayed here and would recommend, great location for Pennington Flash
Pros:

Great value for money and the room was clean and tidy. Really comfy beds and location is fantastic for Iron man event and getting food from nearby Leigh just minutes away. Check in quick and easy with free parking. Pub on site and petrol station with Greggs opposite.

Cons:

Nothing. Its a 3 star hotel for a reason but the rooms we had were all clean, tidy and bathrooms all clean with towels etc.

Pros:

Nothing. Didn't stay the night it was that bad.

Cons:

The whole place looked dishevelled. The corridors/bed rooms smelled of strong food and damp. When we enquired about a change of room we where told the hotel is open to refuges and homeless people. I dont understand why this hotel is being advertised on booking.com. It doesn't meet any standards of a clean comfortable place to stay and we felt unsafe staying ....so we didn't and stayed at another hotel. Please take this off any advertising platforms...it's not fit for purpose.

Horrible.
Pros:

It was open when we got there.

Cons:

Pretty much everything else. The rooms and furnishings all smelt of smoke, there were stains on the light fittings and something stuck on the floor that we had to try and avoid getting into and out of the bed. Right on a dual carriageway with cars going past all night. The whole place felt run down and in need of a good refurbishment. Definitely not worth the money which we also found out from reception was more than the night rate that people could pay on the day. To be fair to the property, we going out a lot of these people were homeless, so well done to them, but not really the environment I want to be paying £300 for a couple for nights stay. The nighr we arrived, someone was checking out early as they had found glass all over their floor, so should have known what to expect.

Pros:

Gill on reception was extremely helpful and friendly. Onsite parking.

Cons:

Swimming pool had clearly been out of use for years. People were living at the hotel. Sink was cracked. Curtain pole not straight. Masking tape around the hairdryer. Corridor smelt damp. Room had a strange smell.
