It was in a good location to visit RHS Bridgewater.
The hotel is tired and the bath had a mouldy bath mat in it. My wife refused to have a bath and she loves baths!
Booked last minute room here, then read the reviews and I was honestly prepared to have to book somewhere else. I popped in and was pleasantly surprised - the previous reviews make it sound awful but it’s actually being renovated! There was clear evidence of wor being done and we was lucky to get one of the new room. New restaurant opening soon too (I spoke to the staff) room was clean, bed was comfortable, and it was a bargain! I would stay again!
The only thing I liked was the way out of the place
Well for starters the pictures on the website showed beautiful modern clean and tidy rooms. This was not the case and the images were obviously ai generated!
It was dirty - the carpets were stained heavily, towels had dried blood stained all over them. The bedding had dried cheese all over it! The toilet didn’t flush, the shower didn’t work
The place is a Dive!! It stink of curry and i definitely will never be back I got completely scammed
Nothing really
Had to move room as the mattress protector was filthy. Half attempt at redecoration in the first room. Broken furniture, painted round mirror on the wall. 2nd room torn/.worn carpet. no mattress protector.
There was nothing to like except the location
The room was big but very dirty, windows were dirty, bathroom stank of pee, the sink was cracked, the table was dirty and peeling, the taps had no mixer so the water was either very hot or very cold; had to leave the next day for another hotel.
