My room was large cozy and warm. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot. I really enjoyed my stay

We had continental breakfast. It was okay. Staff friendly and helpful.
Toasting machine needs replacing.
Parking good, although very busy
Staff at breakfast were shockingly poor. The two people talking to each other ignoring customers. Brusque, bordering on rude. Clearly did not want me to order a cooked breakfast. I did the first day and waited 20 mins, it didn’t arrive and I had to leave for my meeting. Unpleasant lady in particular who was clearly deeply unhappy.
Close to the pub, but in a quiet separate building. Loved the interior deco of the room, tasteful and ‘country elegant.’ Reception crew is friendly and kind, as were the servers in the restaurant. The meal was delicious and the lager as well. I’d come back here in a heartbeat.

The staff in the evening in the restaurant were very helpful and cheerful.
At breakfast one member of the staff could have been more welcoming. We also felt rushed to have our food by nine o’clock. Everything was being collected to be put away at nine o’clock on the dot!!
Also the table was too small. To fit four people round the table was a challenge to say the least!!!

Everything was a delight, great value for money, location was perfect for what we needed, room was clean enough and Bed was surprisingly comfty
The walls to the next room are thin.
Last thing we wanted to hear were to old couple next door having a bit of late night (and again early morning) fun...
