Room was nice, as were staff, would probably recommend somewhere else if you want a nice dinner but if you're happy with standard pub grub it was fine and the interior is wonderful!

Plus I couldn’t get some of the lights to work
The first morning I had to ask for glasses for juice, how to undertake making tea as had Continental breakfast but overall ok, rooms were very hot but it was the weather!!
Have more helpers on breakfast with instructions.
Things not working eg coffee machine
Dangerous shower. No grab handles. Slippery when showering.
It’s a nice pub with a large accommodation block at the back, which is modern and clean. It was very hot and there is no AC, but a fan was provided which was fine.
The property seems to suffer from staffing issues— staff lack training & knowledge.
There was a manager talking loudly about spreadsheets and orders, meanwhile tables were left dirty for hours, restaurant floor and tables were desperately in need of a good clean, they ran out of milk(!) for breakfast because the delivery man comes between 8-10am (shouldn’t someone have got in a car and gone for milk?), the eggs Benedict was served without hollandaise because they ran out, people were served breakfast one by one with a pretty long wait at tables. For lunch at the pub the service was also just not great & It was all just little unprofessional. Not expecting 5 star service and we know it’s a pub, but basic staff training is essential

Really nicely decorated rooms and bathrooms, the pub is nice too! The beds were really comfy. All the staff were lovely as well. Felt like really good value for money and just what we needed for a stopover for a wedding nearby.
Definitely wasn’t as clean as it could have been. The room had quite a lot of dust and the bathroom still had someone’s hair on the tiles. But it didn’t bother us too much for one nights stay! The top floor was also noticeably hotter than the other floors but it is roasting right now

More remote than I was expecting.no air conditioning in the room and a shower that intermittently leaked.
Easy check in. Good parking. Nice Restaurant. Friendly restaurant staff.
Slightly grumpy breakfast staff.
