Pros:

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfy with a big bed. Breakfast had a wide selection to choose from and was delicious.

Cons:

It was difficult to park.
The 2 flights of stairs up to the room are very steep.
The window was a sash type and wouldn't open. The handle had broken off. My stay happened to be a sweltering hot day/night and there was no way to cool the room down.

A good stay in a lovely village, super friendly staff and locals. Highly recommend.
Pros:

Perfect location for our bike ride stop over. Gary was very accommodating and helped us store our bikes securely inside. The food we had in the evening was very good. The staff and locals were very friendly. The rooms were clean and modern with comfortable beds and fans which was appreciated in the hot weather.

Cons:

The breakfast wasn’t the best. We think the bacon and sausages had been reheated possible in a microwave and were like rubber. This was the only downside. The cereals, fruit, yoghurts and juice were great.

En liten pärla
Pros:

Bra och rymligt familjerum med vanliga sängar. Mycket välstädat. Fräscht och välfungerande badrum. Tyst, dvs ej lyhört alls. God frukost. Trevlig personal.

Cons:

Tyvärr värmebölja den dagen vi var där så blev rätt varmt på rummet. Men vi hittade en fläkt i garderoben och fönstret gick ju att öppna.
Att det saknades en hårtork.

I’d definitely book again if I have to go back to the UK.
Pros:

I really liked pretty much everything. Lovely staff, great atmosphere and good food. Draught beers are very well kept too.

Cons:

The Wi-Fi could have been better. Parking too.

Expensive for low budget bed and breakfast

Cons:

The bedroom had a leaky shower which staff knew about . This meant the bedroom carpet was soggy from previous guests shower water . The lock on bathroom door fell off and the sound of the outside fan was noisy . The staff were advised if soggy carpet after first night and response was - oh this is the room with leaky shower. When checking out I confirmed the shower continued to leak and toilet lock fell off - response was ‘ we’re not going too well are we?’ Would anyone be happy paying £135 per night for this ? The breakfast was also poor . I don’t know how this place has any stars!

Great little village pub.
Pros:

Lovely pub in the heart of Glossop. Super friendly staff. Lovely comfortable bed in a nice size room.

Cons:

Unfortunately the stairs going up to the room are very steep so this wasn't easy whilst carrying luggage. If you have limited mobility this isn't for you. Fortunately the staff are very helpful and helped us with our bags.

Pros:

Fijn dat je er ook diner kunt krijgen. Je hoeft nergens meer heen. Maar als je het leuk vindt dat loop je in 7 minuten naar het centrum van Glossop.

Too expensive… not enough leniency!!!

The V early checkout with no lenience!!
We were going to a funeral about 10mins away after staying the night and eating dinner there the previous night … the funeral wasn’t until 11am but we had to leave the queens arms no later than 10am !!! No leeway given … so we were out on the streets with baggage to go on our way !!! Not a good mood to put you in for a family funeral
