One night stop over and glad we chose this pub
Pros:

Homely traditional British pub. Landlady was very welcoming and helpful, in fact all the staff were brilliant.

An acoustic band were on was on when we stayed which was very good and made for a pleasant evening along with good beer.

Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Great! Lovely location. Friendly staff and very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.
Pros:

Lovely room, shower. Bright and super clean. Lots of tea and coffee with nice large cups.
Breakfast was my choice and freshly made. Great staff, everyone was friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Even offering to take me to the station.

Cons:

A minor thing. Dreadful lumpy pillows!

Pros:

The room was clean and tidy, tea/coffee was included.
Once the heating had kicked in, it was nicely warm in the room.
There was little ambient noise, so it stayed quiet, even with a pub quiz being held downstairs.

Cons:

The shower was useless, barely warm and not able to increase in heat.
The bathroom fittings were incomplete, I hung a hand towel on the shelf bracket, as the shelf was missing.
My booking wasn't on the system, despite paying in advance, although this was sorted.
They do not have a car park, so the statement on the booking is incorrect and I would not have booked had I known, I had to park on the street.
The person on check-in confused the matter of food being available, I am glad I went elsewhere, as the breakfast really wasn't nice.

Excellent, clean and friendly staff
Pros:

Immaculately clean. Very friendly staff

Cons:

Struggled to find the entrance into the building after the pub had closed. Knew roughly where to go but wasn’t great signposting and was beginning to get concerned.

The staff were very friendly and the pub downstairs has a warm atmosphere with great Ales/music. Also the breakfast
