Only stayed one night but it was petfrct. Friendly staff, good food and room was very comfortable and clean.

Pros:

Beautiful building, very grand! Staff were amazing, drinks choice brilliant. Breakfast was outstanding! Highly recommend!

Quiet location suited our "out of city on a bus route" requirements.
Safe car park.
All staff was very amicable and helpful.

Cons:

No lift, but staff offered, and we accepted help carrying the suitcase

Very nice property with very friendly staff just be mindful that if it’s hot the old building struggles to shed the heat
Pros:

The location, staff and cleanliness of the property was excellent.

Cons:

The temperature inside the room at the end of the day was above 30Degrees the windows did not open very far leading to an uncomfortable sleep the fan in the room was appreciated but did little to abate the discomfort.

Pros:

Nice style and furnishings in room and room and bed were a decent size
Nice breakfast and reasonably priced. Prompt service

Cons:

Room very warm (hot summer days)and couldn’t open the windows. A fan was provided but some airflow and fresh air, especially at night would have made things much more comfortable. Not a huge fan of bathrooms in bedrooms but that’s a personal preference

You need to be slim for the showers!
Pros:

Good location for my needs, comfortable bed, unusually nice refreshments in the room for this kind of hotel, good price. The restaurant is fine.

Cons:

The shower cubicle was minuscule - I’m not huge yet it was a bit of a squeeze!

The room above the kitchen extractor fans is affected by noise, heat, and food smells if you need the windows open. It could do with air con.

Comfortable enough as we were in town briefly visiting relatives.
Pros:

Staff was very friendly and breakfast was good. Coffee was excellent !

Cons:

This is a minor quip but the shower did have some mould around the bottom edges, showing a little wear.

All was good. reasonable value, and friendly staff - would visit again
Pros:

Room was spacious clean and comfortable. Bathroom equally roomy, with a good shower.

Cons:

For some of our party, the rooms on the top floor were a little restricted for space in the en suite

Blind missing on side window so I was woken extremely early by broad daylight. Spoiled our visit.
No seal on sink outlet so sink could not be filled.
