Close location to Thornbury Hospital. Lovely bar and restaurant - great atmosphere and meals
Pros:

Lovely building- staff all friendly and welcoming. Hotel rooms very good standard with good power shower. We had drinks in the bar and meal in the restaurant which was lovely. We stayed here before surgery at the hospital nearby so it was in great location for that.

Location great for near hospital but would need to drive to other facilities.

Pros:

I stayed for one night and overall had a really great experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well presented, and the staff were lovely.

Cons:

The only downside for me was that the mattress was quite firm. As someone who has had lower back surgery, I struggled a bit with comfort overnight. Other than that, everything else was excellent and I would happily stay again.

The Florentine is the perfect place to go to relax in anonymity, or with friends.
Pros:

The room was lovely and spacious, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom a good size. The continental breakfast was very good. The dinner menu was well thought-out and everything on there was tempting; the portion sizes were just right. We could not fault the staff in any way; they were professional, helpful and courteous.

Cons:

The temperature in our room was a little too warm and something really set off my allergies (I don't know what it was), but that didn't stop our general liking of room.

Disappointing. So much so we will not be recommending it to family and friends. Staff were unprofessional. Particularly

Location and exterior architecture

Cons:

1. No lift. Are room was on the top floor and my wife has a disability. We were told no other room was available for us. My wife really struggled with the stairs.
2. The temperature was late twenties, early thirties, there was no fan in the room.
3. There were large cobwebs on some pictures and dust on others therefore indicating poor cleanliness.
4. Our room was above a generator which kept kicking in all night. This resulted in us not having sleep for two nights.

Lovely comfortable hotel with excellent staff.
Pros:

The room was spacious with everything I needed. Full length mirror with a socket next to it so that I could dry my hair easily. Instant heat when I turned the radiator on. DAB radio . Lovely shower products. Good black out curtains, usb sockets by the bed. Very comfortable bed and linens.

Cons:

Large gap under the door which I had to cover up with some clothing as it let the light through. Anyone bigger than me would have struggled with the shower in this top floor room because of the angled ceiling.
