Perfect.
Pros:

The hotel is beautiful, as are the grounds. The breakfast was fantastic. I would really recommend the eggs Benedict.
Comfy beds and pillows. The bathroom was exquisite and huge!!!
The staff are lovely and friendly.

Cons:

I can't see how it could be improved.
Room service could finish a bit later.
You have to pay for water in your room as it is part of the minibar.

Pros:

Elegant hotel in the old part of Plympton. Nice bar area. Good breakfast.

Cons:

Quite a small room. Our main concern was that the bedside lamps were standard lamps with shades, making reading in bed quite difficult.

Pros:

comfortable beds in well insulated rooms with high end bathrooms.
The restaurant needs booking and for good reason, the cooking is second to none and the wine list is pretty good. The breakfast is also good but if we are being petty, the sausage and black pudding aren’t quite up to the impeccable high standards of the evening. the staff are attentive and fun.
9/10 would definitely return.

Cons:

nothing
