The beautiful hotel sits in gorgeous grounds and is perfectly situated for exploring Devon.
Pros:

Both breakfast and dinner were delicious and served by lovely staff. The rooms and bathrooms were a good size offering lovely robes and towels.

Cons:

The gentleman located on reception both when returning to the hotel on our second evening and on check out needs to be a little less aloof.

Lovely as always.
Pros:

Location perfect for our needs. We have stayed here a number of times. Emma on reception kindly emailed to offer our sandwich order because of our late arrival. Phoned to place order so all was ready for us. Room lovely as always. Staff friendly as always. The grounds are beautiful. Will book again.

Cons:

Order for sandwich went wrong! Brown bread instead of white and were told no fries available as the fryer had already been switched off even though the kitchen didn't close for another ten minutes. We were offered a packet of crisps instead! We didn't accept that offer so the fryer was switched on again and the fries duly arrived. Sealant at bottom of shower not very hygenic looking with possibility of water ingress to wall.
