Lovely place! Really friendly and informative staff. Room was nice, clean and had everything I needed. Being above a nice pub with a great real ale selection is definitely a bonus as well!

It was a great price and comfy room. The showers and toilets were very clean and easy to use.
On the booking I thought it said there was parking on site. I couldn't find it or it wasn't available and it took me a while to find parking as many of the pay and display carparks near by where for max 12 hours. I also struggled to get the hot water on in the shower and so wasn't able to shower.

I stopped at the Horse and Jockey for one night whilst in Nottingham. The rooms, whilst relatively basic were very clean and comfortable. The room was not onsuit, but at this price point, I can't complain about that. There were 4 shower rooms with a sink and toilet in each and again, they were very clean. In addition to this, there were 4 separate toilets so at no point did I have any issues waiting to use the facilities. The pub downstairs was a very nice, traditional set up. Great choice of beers and very friendly staff. The log burner was a nice welcome addition on a cold night. All in all, great value for money and I'd definitely stay here again.

Bar staff were lovely and welcoming. Explained the parking and door codes etc.
Bedroom was clean. Clean bedding and towels extra pillows available. Tea and coffee making facilities and small fridge in room. Tv working and free WiFi. Not at all noisey considering it's above a pub

I knew it was a shared bathroom, on the whole this doesn't bother me but I felt the bathroom needed extra daily cleaning
