Everything felt new in the accommodation. The bed was comfortable and the blinds were blackout.
The tv was far too complicated and no instructions? The bathroom floor was not clean but I would still stay again at this location. Rooms lack a full length mirror, but the rooms m has everything you need
Location, stayed there numerous times times
Deep bath to have a shower in, it was difficult to get in for short people
This is the second time we have stayed here and I highly recommend it.

Location friendly staff
Have stayed a couple of times and breakfast always superb but it was just ok thiis time but it cant be perfect all the time
Great location, nice room, very clean.
Nice hotel and restaurant, breakfast was good.
The noise and music from the bars can be heard in the hotel rooms. Had i been aware of this prior to booking i would not have booked this hotel. I stayed on a Saturday night and the bars were very busy so it may be different in the week.
Felt disappointed as the noise/music from the bars was constant from checking in at 4pm until midnight. Left feeling very unrested.
Clean room and comfortable bed
Lack of coat hooks
The downstairs bar décor was lovely, and our room was comfortable. The food was ok, a bit bland.
However, the cleanliness let it down. After the previous night’s crowd, the floors still didn’t look clean, and tables had visible glass marks and felt sticky.
We stayed over the bank holiday and had no idea this hotel would be such a busy hotspot.
On arrival, it was extremely overcrowded — we could barely get through the front door as people were packed in back to back. There were drinks all over the floor, and we had to squeeze past people just to get to the restaurant. Honestly, it felt like being in a jam-packed nightclub where you can barely move, not a hotel. The whole atmosphere felt chaotic and poorly managed.
We had dinner booked at 5pm, but throughout the meal there was constant noise from upstairs — loud banging, chairs being dragged, and general disruption from the bar area above. It completely took away from what should have been a relaxed dining experience.
The toilets were also in poor condition and overcrowded, more like something you’d expect in a nightclub than a hotel.
The staff were polite, but very young and didn’t seem particularly concerned about what was going on around them.
The food itself was nice, but the service wasn't great. We were one of the first tables in, yet the last to receive our mains. Our side of fries arrived first, and after around five minutes another member of staff asked where our food was — it turned out our mains had been given to another table.
Unfortunately, it didn’t improve later in the evening. Our room was directly above the bar, and we were kept awake until around 1am due to loud music and people drinking.
Breakfast the following morning was just as disappointing. There were only two tables in, it took around 15 minutes for someone to take our drinks order. Drinks and fruit arrived fairly quickly, but then we waited 45–50 minutes for something as simple as egg on toast, while other tables who arrived after us were served first.
Considering we paid over £300 for the night, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. I had really high hopes and was genuinely looking forward to staying here, but it honestly felt like a complete waste of money.
Everything was superb. From check in to check
out service was excellent. Our room was fabulous. Lovely views and so well appointed. Beautiful bathroom and a very comfortable bed. We were there to celebrate a birthday with friends and our evening meal exceeded expectations. We will definitely return.
The only niggle is parking. Allow time to find a suitable space and be prepared to walk.
