I will stay here again
Pros:

The full English breakfast was very good. All the entrees I ordered were also very good. I have stayed here many times in the past.

Room was at top of stairs and above the bar area and could be noisy at times.

Lovely central village stay, with great food.

Staff were very friendly, it was easy to check in and out. The price included a delicious Derbyshire breakfast. Central location. Lovely village to stay in. Good value for money. Lovely dinner too. We would recommend

Pros:

The town was beautiful. The room we had was comfy and cute. We really enjoyed the complimentary hot chocolate. The window looking out back faced a cemetery with a nice church and a castle on the hill. The dinner and breakfast at the pub were also very tasty.

Cons:

The drain in the shower was a bit clogged and did not drain incredibly well.

Pros:

We had the Winhill room which surpassed our expectations. The room was a great size, the bathroom was impressive with a jacuzzi bath.

The room has 2 lovely windows with fine Peak District views. The location is as central as you can get but we didn't really hear any noise from the bar below.

Cons:

We found the room a little cold but it wasn't a massive problem as oil filled radiators were available for use.

Great location for all Castleton amenities.
useful having the car park

Cons:

The bathroom heated radiator did not work.
The bedroom wall had black mould under the window which is unacceptable and not to mention unhealthy.

Great location, great staff, would highly recommend!
Pros:

Great location! Clean and comfortable, all you really need. Staff very friendly! :)

Cons:

The only thing we could say is that the chair in room wasn’t usable (unstable) and it would have been nice to sit down somewhere other than the bed.
