Wifi not working
We both enjoyed because it felt warm and friendly
Lovely pub Great location
The food, the fire, breakfast, parking, the price.
The room was rather small, the view out the window of the graveyard and the bathroom which had a broken shower and needed a soap or shampoo holder.
In the heart of Castleton ,nice breakfast and friendly staff
Was cold in the room which we stayed in
Location. Pub
Tiny bedroom. We couldn’t shower properly as the shower room was so small. The pub needs refreshing, however we would stay again, just not in the room we were given.
The hotel was comfortable and homely the food was very good.
Can't say didn't like anything I really enjoyed the nags head and the location is excellent
Great location with excellent food and drinks.
Traditional cozy pub with open fire and real ales. The food was exceptional we ordered an evening meal and we're blown away with the quality plus the breakfast was one of the best we have had.
Husband loved the ales and the views from the room were stunning.
This is a lovely old pub in a picturesque village in the Pesk District. The staff were so warm and welcoming. The food was fantastic (we had the steak). We atesitting by the fire and had a delicious breakfast in the morning. We absolutely loved our stay!! Highly recommended.
Location was fantastic, accommodation was mediocre. Housekeeping was minimal and decoration passable
Cleanliness could have been better. Decoration was minimal but lacking in effort
Good location. A lovely warm open fire.
Be aware that on a Sunday you may not be able to have an evening meal. The menu in the pub has a statement that they serve meals up to 9pm on Sundays, however they finished a lot earlier than that. It would have been useful on booking in to have been given advice on eating at the property. Normally when we book into a B&B we are asked if we are eating there that evening.
There was no alternative in Castleton that night. No
Good value, rooms clean and great cooked breakfast
Rooms look tired, bed very hard
Location was perfect in the centre of the village. Breakfast was excellent - very tasty, good quality. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Good range of beers in the bar.
Mattress on bed could have been better - it was a bit thin.
