we enjoyed our stay, and would return.
Pros:

breakfast was excellent. Staff were pleasant.Rooms very comfortable.Location was great.

Cons:

Only thing to mention on the negative side was in the breakfast room. The marble table we sat at could have done with a good clean around the top edges, it was really dirty. If this review is read by the staff and they go to check, they will see I'm not exaggerating.

A good stay.
Pros:

Central, popular, reasonably priced, good food.

Cons:

Front of house was not a great communicator. Otherwise, all good. Restaurant staff were brilliant.

Für eine Übernachtung ok, längere Aufenthalte eher nicht.
Pros:

Das Frühstück war gut, allerdings ist es gut nicht hinter den Tresen zu schauen. Ansonsten ist das Zimmer dem Alter des Gebäudes entsprechend.

Etwas zeitgemäßere Innenausstattung. Sauberkeit.

Pros:

Lovely location, great reception. Excellent selection of real ales in the bar. Rooms are functional with enjoy suite showers. . Top breakfast with wide menu to choose from.

Reception staff were friendly, breakfast staff deserve a mention too

Cons:

YONH is tired in places, but that's balanced with the price which is excellent value for money and the hotel is in a great location.

Tired in places yes, but this generally adds to the rustic charm

I've seen negative reviews from guests, but as long as you're not expecting the ritz and remember how much you paid, can't be faulted

Comfortable, traditional Inn in Castleton
Pros:

The Olde Nags Head was in the middle of Castleton and had its own car park. The ‘olde’ styling carried on into our bedroom with a four-poster bed, mini chandeliers and a view of the castle behind. I really enjoyed the breakfast choices (eg. Full English, eggs Benedict). We had good meals in the restaurant in the evening too. The staff were friendly and helpful.
