Horrendous. Property did not have a room for us and left us stranded at night in Liverpool. Having advised us to request a refund, it was denied and we had to get Booking.Com to sort it out.
They did not have a room for us, dreadful management
The worst experience in my life. Me and my family booked this accommodation on New year's eve and when we got to the accommodation there was no key in the key holder. The owner lives next door, he came out and lied to us that "the owner has travelled", he will try get hold of him and get back to us and he turned off his lights as soon as he went back in. Me and my wife tried calling him several times but he quickly blocked both of us. He then later messaged me that "he's in the hospital and there's nothing he can do". I should request for a refund from booking.com.
We couldn't believe it, why that time because I messaged him few hours before we arrived but he never mentioned that.
He didn't consider that I had two kids with me and we travelled to Liverpool and had no money to book for another accommodation. I have explained it to him and even sent him my account details to please transfer me my money back so I can look for another place but he refused.
I think booking.com should ban such people because he not only put me and my family's lifes at risk but also ruined all our plans.
We had to drive back home after spending a long time knocking his door for him to atleast come out and explained in person what happened.
place to stay
communication was awful , stuck outside for almost an hour contacted multiple times and got no response the host was just opening my messages and ignoring me . we got told the wrong lock box to get the key 3 times
Stay was cancelled by owner day before due to a flood on property
The water power in the shower was good. The drain was filthy. Toilet was clean and 2 x bottles of mineral water in room.
The person above was drunk and it was a week day. It attracts alcoholics. Very run down. Neighbour upstairs was banging on the ceiling and moving the room contents around until 1.30am and started shouting on the phone at 8.30am aggressively and swearing. I should have booked a hotel like I normally do but it was walking distance to Anfield and we went to watch a game. Room was dirty with cobwebs.
The location.
Owner cancelled my stay an hour before I arrived and no refund was issued. Had to find a different accommodation.
Nothing
Everything
Nothing, I never got to access the property
I never got to access the accommodation as the host didn't send me a code to access the property. Host never responded to phone calls, texts or emails. I was left stranded, having to source alternative accomodation . I am still fighting to get refunded for my payment. Avoid
The property was awful . Dirt everywhere beds crammed in and not a mattress you couldn’t feel a spring in . Do not come here . Stay away at all costs
The contact for the ap is some rude manchild
The property is scruffy
Good location for our stay
When we arrived there was no key in the box and when I rang the host I was told sorry there was nothing they could do and find another accommodation even though we had a child with us and everywhere else was sold out or way out of our budget. After back and fore on the phone and a bit of help off someone who knew the host they got a key to us. The room was ok, as we wasn’t staying in there for very long only to sleep but the fridge had lots of stuff left in there and was not very clean.
found a great hostel called the pod liverpool !
i asked months prior for an early check in and asked the week before to double check, it comes to the day manager doesn’t reply to any of my messages, I try sending a message on whatsapp + text messages with no response, I called 8 times and so did my friend still with no response it came to 2pm and we still had no reply so we cut our losses and checked into a hostel, still waiting to hear how to enter the building four days after i left
