Good location, get what you pay for.
Pros:

Good location, friendly staff

Cons:

Lock on room was faulty and loose. Not secure at all. Room was very hot and kitchen chimney was right outside my window. Not a nice smell if you opened the window.

Pros:

The close proximity to the sea with great views
Easy walk to town centre

Cons:

The cost for overnight parking at the nearby car park. I thought the menu lacks variety should include pub classics. The breakfast on the other hand was outstanding

Pleasant enough but wouldn’t return
Pros:

Good location, waiting staff were pleasant. Bed comfortable.

Cons:

We were in a ground floor room, looking out to a yard area, didn’t feel safe enough to keep a window open and as much as there was a small fan in the room it was noisy and the room got very hot. The light in the bathroom also went off whilst having a shower. Not really much choice or given a choice for other variations at breakfast. Bar was also very expensive.

A poor night's sleep at Smith's hotel.
Pros:

Staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was adequate.
Location was good.

Cons:

Very poor room.
Sink was very slow draining.
Broken floor tiles next to toilet, potentially dangerous.
1 of 2 bathroom lights not working.
Mirror light switch cord broken.
Noisy extractor fan in bathroom.
Double bed pushed next to wall making it very difficult during the night.
They've turned this into a triple room. Should only be a double.
Creaky floor with floorboards moving as much as 1.5 cm just outside bathroom.
Very noisy guests up to 3.a.m.
We couldn't change as it was the last room and it was late.

Pros:

Staff friendly ,clean , good location to the centre, beautiful view ,right on the sea front

Cons:

The only complaint I can say ,the breakfast is big but the sausages need to be changed , I noticed quite a few other customers also left the sausages !!!!
