A good relaxing break
Pros:

Breakfast was good. Especially the poached eggs. Good range of breakfast food available. Lovely friendly helpful staff.

Cons:

Step up to bathroom was difficult but room had had to be changed due to water leak. Lift takes a while to get used to. Breakfast times rather early in week but we managed to get there.

Pros:

The hotel itself was spacious and clean. The storage in the room was good. The welcome pack was nice.

Cons:

The room was rather small. We stayed during a heat wave and the lack of air conditioning made the room very uncomfortable to stay in, although we appreciatethay it is an old building. We didn't have any towels in our room to take a shower and ended up buying our own as we felt uncomfortable asking the staff as one member was quite sharp and sarcastic.

Worth the money
Pros:

Perfect location for walking around Weston-Super-Mare, the staff for both the hotel and the bar were incredibly friendly and helpful. No wasted space for the bathroom, although it could've used a shelf of some sort.

Cons:

Absolutely boiling in the room with the heatwave, bedding was very warm for the weather (mattress pad + sheet + thick comforter) and the windows opened onto a roof so not the safest feeling. Key fob was kinda unwieldy too, very large for a pocket.

Great location and very clean
Pros:

Breakfast was really value for money and really nice.

Cons:

The room was really clean and perfect for what we needed but if the fan was broken ( it was an incredibly hot day) it did work but you couldn’t alter it up and down so had to position it higher on the chair but worked fine side to side. The bed and some floor boards were creaky.

Would not stay again, very disappointing
Pros:

Yhe staff were very pleasant and helpfull. They could not do enough for you especially the man on reception

Cons:

shower leaked and was dirty. Room was very small.
Breakfast was cold . Looked and tasted like it had been precooked and left to stand.
Banaster in the stairwell.were grimmed with dirt. Looked like they are not cleaned.
If there was were a fire outside or in the hallway of the room would never have got out. Very unsettling.
The room we were in must have been below the kitchens as could hear the fans and smell the food cooking in the morning. Really was not a nice experience. Would not stay there again

Convenient Seafront Hotel
Pros:

Lovely clean, comfortable bed.

Cons:

The room was rather shabby. We were advised to avoid using the lift as it was making a noise. Not a problem for us as we’re fine climbing stairs but would have been a problem for anyone with mobility issues
