All staff were lovely and my room was clean and I was offered a daily room service. Parking was free and there is a lovely T shop next door.
This hotel has the outside appearance of having been decommissioned. As a female travelling alone I book hotels rather than air B and B for the security and presence of staff. After 9 there were no staff and the front doors were not secured shut.
Lovely location very quiet
No breakfast on site, only baked potatoes avail rest of day, don’t answer phone and reception often left unattended
Clean comfortable room with tea and coffee making facilities. Friendly staff.
Unfortunately the restaurant wasn't open so had to drive to get something to eat in the evening. Looked like a nice coffee shop though for the daytime .
The location was great and the lady at the check in was very nice.
The room was very dated as was the rest of the hotel. Paint peeling off the walls, decor was very old and not in the cute vintage way. What really put us off however was breakfast, at £15pp for a full English, the least you can do is provide us with mushrooms and hash browns? The elements of the breakfast that were served were very sub par and tepid. The toast arrived 20 mins after the food.
Location: good. There was a party going on but our room was far enough for us not to hear it, so that was also good.
Flies all over the windowsill, pubic hairs in the bath, dangerous furniture badly put together - staples hanging out, bed frame too big for mattress so we kept walking into it and hurting ourselves. Mattress WAY too hard: like sleeping on concrete
Debbie was exceptional in her service delivery.
The price and location
No evening meal
Basic hotel with limited facilities. Ok for a stop over on the way down the country
Limited food and drink options
It was fine
Quite location
Lovely room
Beautiful hotel very relaxing
Continental breakfast wasn't that exciting
Nice location and good room
Not much going on with bar etc but nothing really
The location was convenient for me and where my appointment was the following day. From the outside the hotel looked nice and well appointed with a stylish appearance. The free car park was easy to access with plenty of spaces at the property.
There were no members of staff on duty at the reception area/desk in person during my stay.
There were some instructions for guests to call a telephone number if further assistance was required which I called to advise of my arrival. Details of my room and the room key/card were left on the reception desk and marked for my attention but I was never actually greeted by a anyone in person.
During the brief phone call was informed that the hotel restaurant was closed and the bar was also closed too, so there was nowhere to get an evening meal on the premises. I was advised that I could ring a local Pizza joint, or Fast food takeaway for a hot food delivery service as an alternative.
I decided to drive to a nearby Sainsburys local outlet a few miles away and so I got a sandwich meal deal instead. There was also a Costa Coffee Drive-Thru outlet on the same site at Tolley Way, Copcut Droitwich WR9 7HP Worcestershire, GB.
It was disappointing there was no restaurant or food facilities at the Pear Tree hotel though. The room was ok it was quite comfortable with the usual standard features of an en-suite bathroom, TV, Kettle and wardrobe storage space
The following morning there was no cooked breakfast available either although there was a continental breakfast option but guests were required to book that breakfast request in advance..
Unfortunately, I wasnt aware of this point and didnt reserve my option of a cold continental breakfast option when I arrived.
I went back to the Costa coffee outlet at Tolley Way for a coffee and breakfast the next day which was quite convenient for me under the circumstances.
