Great location clean quiet
Beautiful location with stunning views. All the staff were kind and welcoming. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The room was very clean and comfortable. Limestone hotel has a relaxing ambience. It's a great starting point for coastal path rambles. I leave feeling refreshed, relaxed and recharged
That I had to leave
Subjectively, the location is terrific, far enough away from the bustle of Lulworth Cove to provide complete peace and quiet, but still an easy 10 minute walk down to the Cove’s other eateries in the evening if you fancy a change from the Limestone’s own restaurant (we had an excellent meal in Lulworth Lodge bistro). Our cooked breakfast was terrific; as good as any we’ve had, and our host Clare was unstintingly helpful and friendly. The hotel’s small car park is a major bonus – Limestone was the only place we could find that didn’t oblige us to endure the assorted inconveniences of a pay car park.
The small public rooms are pleasant, but our particular ‘Boathouse’ bedroom (designated Standard King) was a little disappointing. The bed was impressively huge, but with no formal dressing table, no handy hooks in the bedroom, and only a rudimentary built-in wardrobe, it lacked space to leave the usual holiday paraphernalia easily to hand. There were also variable temperature and pressure issue with the shower.
Hospitality from staff, food and shower
Helpful stuff good food
Car parking and noisy tv in the room next to ours
Excellent location with beautiful countryside views, breakfast was amazing, despite the info there was a restaurant on site with fantastic evening meals.
Nothing not to like here.
The food was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful
No issues with our stay
Breakfast was great
Small parking lot
Breakfast was very good, quick service and lots of choices
Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choices and cooked to order. Continental selection also included. Good options for non meat eaters also.
No complaints whatsoever. Everything was Great!
A fantastic very friendly Hotel. The staff were exceptional and very helpful. The Breakfast menu was varied and exceptional and the evening menu was also fantastic. The Hotel provided a lovely range of toiletries and the view from our room was great.
Location
Bathroom / Shower very small
The evening meal was very nice for both my partner and myself. I'm vegan and the chef offered to make me an off the menu dish which was very lovely. The room was very comfortable and the bed large and comfy.
The hand held shower attachment was broken and the overhead rainshower had very poor water pressure. We made the staff aware and they apologised for the inconvenience but it's not what you expect for a room at that price.
Great location, quiet and peaceful.
