A fantastic very friendly Hotel. The staff were exceptional and very helpful. The Breakfast menu was varied and exceptional and the evening menu was also fantastic. The Hotel provided a lovely range of toiletries and the view from our room was great.

Bathroom / Shower very small
The evening meal was very nice for both my partner and myself. I'm vegan and the chef offered to make me an off the menu dish which was very lovely. The room was very comfortable and the bed large and comfy.
The hand held shower attachment was broken and the overhead rainshower had very poor water pressure. We made the staff aware and they apologised for the inconvenience but it's not what you expect for a room at that price.

We stayed in the ‘writers room ‘ which was beautifully light with a charming view out over the village

Lack of torches to buy for evening walks in the dark. It was a bit scary at times, and I wish we had been prepared.
A warm, comfortable hotel with lovely staff in a perfect location. My room was exceptional and the stars at night brilliant as was the food.
