A lovely scenic location.
Pros:

The outside seating area was a delight on a warm summer’s evening.
Comfortable bed.
Good breakfast.

Cons:

Poor maintenance. The washbasin drain was blocked and the bath drain plug would not retain water.

A nice hotel. Lovely location, friendly staff . Would stay again .
Pros:

Very comfortable hotel in great location. Right next to the British Camp and lots of hiking routes, and stunning scenery . Very dog friendly. Good parking . Room clean and roomy .

Cons:

Breakfast service first morning was extremely slow . Cooked breakfast ( full English) a bit tough - from sitting under heat lamp I think . But there was a convention on and hotel was busy so probably understaffed. Food is expensive , but portions generous. But probably reflects what a hotel needs to charge to stay viable .
Would have been nice to have had a lounge with sofas for reading etc .
