A very old pub with rooms. Our room was big with a modern bathroom. Food in the bar was good: there is also a very nice restaurant but we ate in the bar which had a nice atmosphere from the friendly locals.

Food was good, staff very good.
Could move on the patrons that sat outside the bedroom window at night drinking and laughing - after bar closed.
Maybe encourage them to a different area to sit and drink.
Location and car park and the room seemed clean
The room hadnt seen a coat of paint this century and the carpet and furniture had sen better days. No Breakfast option.

No breakfast. Plenty of choice in the town though. Excellent bar evening meal. Room was a good size and it felt just perfect to sleep under the original beams.

Shower was not particularly clean, around frame etc. Wanted to go for early run but could work out how to get back in fire exit so didnt go. was worried I would be locked out of building
The room was very clean and the pub in a great location with good parking
Property looked tired - hall light didnt work so was very difficult to find room without torch. Lots of noise at night - to be expected really as it is a pub but the outside pub tables were directly underneath the room and window had to be open as it was quite hot in the hotel.

Black mould in shower, broken tiles and grout from tiles falling out of tiles in bathroom. Our room was OK regarding noise but our companions had very noisy rooms. Didn't serve any breakfast.
