Lovely staff, great location
The room was so hot and the bathroom window didn’t open
Stayed here for a one night stopover before a golf match. Single room was excellent value and although a small room it had all the facilities you need. Really nice en suite. I was shown to my room by a really friendly receptionist who gave me all the info I required for an early checkout. Didn't get a chance to look around the village but looked really charming.
Just 2 minor points. Paint in the room could do with a freshen up to make it less gloomy. Took a bit of time to find the car park since the apparent entrance passage had outside seating in it. Actual entrance is further along to the right of the pub between two other premises. Directions to car park would be helpful when booking.
Location and cleanliness
Great Location for visiting Family in Henley in Arden. Parking at Rear up very narrow lane. Rooms were comfortable. Very good bathroom and Shower.
Parking is compact.
No breakfast but a good cafe and bakery close by.
Good location on the High Street and ample parking at the back of the property. The room was comfortable and well provided for especially for our one night stay. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Easy check out.
Whilst the Hotel itself was fine we did not have the restful night we had hoped for. The bar had facilities for outdoor seating and it was a very warm evening. A group of young, very noisy revellers were positioned just below our window and made as much noise as they wanted. Indeed as the night wore on they actually engaged in competitions to make as much noise as they could. this was not just loud banter and conversations this was yelling and whooping. It seemed that the owners were powerless to prevent this despite the fact that this was also a hotel. We liked our room but would not choose to stay at this location again as we need to sleep before our long drive the next morning.
Bit worn and tatty. My single room was small and rather basic for a hotel that sells itself as a pleasant period hotel. Couldn’t check out through certain doors before 9am for some reason, so people were leaving the hotel via a fire door at the back and that door kept slamming shut very loudly
The bed was comfortable. The staff were good.parking good
There were no drinking glasses in the room, only one hand towel in the bathroom for two people. There was not a plug in the sink very poor. They don't serve breakfast. We were told that we had to leave down the fire escape as you cannot go through the bar before 9am, being as we are elderly and had two cases not a very safe.
Friendly place some nice little shops but was closed on Sunday we would like to visit again but stay for weekend give us abit more time to look around
Room was nice but needed a proper clean alot of dust and dead insects in window and shower door where seal is at bottom was grubby
Excellent high street location in Henley-in-Arden. Also great that is has a car park are to the rear of the property.

The location, free car park,
There some cobwebbs in the bedroom. It was quite loud as the room overlooked outside benches at the pub
Always stay here when working nearby. Great value and nice rooms. Bags of history.
No breakfast was a disadvantage but there are options nearby. The hotel is completely closed in the morning so the only egress is down a very steep fire escape. Old and infirm people need to be advised of this hazard.
It was nice and clean ! Comfortable bed the staff were so friendly!!
There were no issues at all ! Can’t complain about anything
Very good value for money and very good position in the centre of Henley with on site parking.
Great location within the town but also within the area. Lovely food and friendly pubs on site.
It was quite noisy until 11pm although quiet afterwards once the pub has been closed up for the evening.
accomodation was very good and represents good value
the only downside was the room was quite noisy due to its location above an outside seating area for the pub But having said that it was a thursday and friday night if you prefer a bit more quiet take some ear plugs or headphones but the noise soon abates after closing time
