Lovely bar/ restaurant but rooms need updating.
Pros:

The bar and restaurant were both lovely and they’ve clearly spent a lot of money on.

Cons:

The rooms were clean and a good size but they need a bit tlc. There was a crack in the bath panel, the fan in the bathroom didn’t work and the curtains were hanging off the rail a bit.

A very expensive £129 with no refund offered certainly would not recommend - stay well clear
Pros:

Nothing, would not even give a 1 a zero is more the score.

Cons:

I refuse to stay in a damp basement.
The lay in grid ceiling is about to collapse and all I can hear is the bedroom above me.
Half the lighting doesn’t work, no extract, dirty the list goes on, would not recommend under any circumstances.
Spent several days trying to get someone to answer the phone to raise my complaints but to no avail, please note I book at least 3-4 bookings a week on Booking.com, so please note this is not somewhere I would recommend when they would not even consider giving a refund as we did not stay in the hotel it was that bad.

A beautiful find in a picturesque village.
Pros:

The location is excellent - near a lovely little park perfect to give the dog a run around and a short walk from an excellent park. The little high street is lovely and has everything you need.

Cons:

Only thing we didn’t truly rate was the dinner, bed and breakfast only being a credit towards dinner rather than being dinner but despite this we felt it was still great value.

Excellent location in a lovely picturesque village.
Pros:

Excellent location, lovely picturesque village, 5 mins drive from where I needed to visit.
Staff were all friendly and helpful.
Breakfasts were really good.
Rooms clean; cleaned/ restocked daily with toiletries, clean towels, coffee, water. Bins emptied, beds remade.

Cons:

Rooms can be a little tired - curtains coming off rails here and there.
But that’s a small point, didn’t affect me.
