Pros:

Hotel is erg rustig gelegen in het dorp Schauren. Een familiebedrijf wat prima gerund wordt door een echtpaar. Hartelijke ontvangst, behulpzaam,...Onze kamer was ruim, voldoende opbergplaats, proper. De badkamer idem. Het ontbijt wordt uitstekend verzorgd door de gastvrouw; zeker voldoende aanbod; ook wanneer je een eitje wenst of extra koffie....allemaal geen probleem. De keuken, diner, mag zonder meer excellent genoemd worden. Je kan genieten van een degelijke en goed verzorgde Duitse keuken; heel lekker. Het dorp is een goeie uitvalsbasis om het Hochwald te verkennen. Mooie wandelroutes (Traumschleifen) direct in de buurt. Zoals overal in Duitsland zijn de wandelwegen goed gemarkeerd en verzorgd.
We hebben hier genoten van enkele leuke en fantastische dagen en hopen in de toekomst zeker terug te komen naar dit gezellige en vriendelijke familiehotel.

Das Frühstück war super und das Essen im Restaurant auch. Die Lage ist auch hervorragend. Sehr nette Gastgeber.

Cons:

Sehr hellhörig. Im Nebenzimmer wurde lautstark Fußball geschaut. Meine Tochter konnte nicht einschlafen.

Pros:

Heel aardig ontvangst, prima kamers (zoals omschreven en brandschoon) een fantastisch ontbijt. Het avondeten was meer dan goed, smaakvol en ruim voldoende. Elke dag een lekkere salade vooraf en wat we ook bestelden was en vers fantastisch klaargemaakt.

Er waren geen tegenvallers, alles was helemaal naar ons zin.
