Man hat sich sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt: der Wirt war sehr nett und hat für jeden Gast immer ein nettes Wort gehabt. Das Abendessen und das Frühstück waren köstlich, man konnte sich so viel schöpfen wie man wollte und wenn man was zum trinken wollte, hat man sich etwas aus einem Schrank genommen und einen Strich auf die Liste gemacht, die in einem Umschlag auf dem Tisch lag, den man sich am Anfang ausgesucht hatte.
Alles Vertrauenssache , hat aber funktioniert: sehr praktisch.
In der Nähe vom Hotel waren zwei Bushaltestellen, so dass man in die Umgebung fahren konnte

Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig.

Am Ankunftstag hieß es Abends das es Buffet geben würde. Leider war es im Vergleich der anderen Tage mit 16EUR pro Person etwas sehr überzogen.

Gepassioneerd personeel, enorm genoten
Pros:

De rust in het gebied is ongeëvenaard. Tel daarbij op de enorm vriendelijke gastheer die vol passie en overgave er alles aan doet het verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken en het minstens zo vriendelijke personeel en er kan eigenlijk niks meer mis gaan.
Zowel het ontbijt als diner zijn een lopend buffet waarbij het aanbod van dag tot dag wisselt en wat ons betreft super was.
Ook de hygiëne is op en top. Kamer, badkamer, toilet en balkon waren super schoon. Zo kan het dus ook!

Cons:

Het bed in onze kamer is echt aan vervanging toe en de kussens waren meer lucht dan vulling.
Ook de drukte in de straat van het hotel viel ons tegen. Doordat wij aan de straatkant sliepen en graag de ramen open hebben waren de buslijn en de vele bestelbusjes enorm storend. Echter wanneer men aan de andere kant van het hotel slaapt heb je hier totaal geen last van.

Il proprietario è molto gentile. Praticamente sei in famiglia. La colazione è eccezionale. Un punto molto interessante a visitare e vedere diversi punti di attrazione da lì tutta la parte del nord della Foresta Nera.

It was a peaceful stay in a tranquil setting.
Pros:

The establishment is family-run, and Mr. Treiber was great. He was very helpful from check-in to check-out and everything in between. He offered suggestions of activities in the area and showed us the best routes using local public transit. His quick wit and sense of humor made us feel welcome from the first day.

The breakfast was always fresh, and they used locally sourced products.

There was also an option to purchase a home-cooked dinner every night for a reasonable price. It was delicious!

Overall it was a nice place and experience.
Pros:

The owner is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is good. The rooms are clean and comfy. The location is good and quiet. The place is full of antique stuff which made it cozy and beautiful.

Cons:

The doors don’t have sound insulation you can hear people walking and talking in the hallway. There is no quiet policy after 22:00 some people were laughing and talking loudly when going into their rooms which was annoying at that time of the night. The internet reception is very poor.
